In the midst of another extensive European tour, Team RAW stop off in Manchester for television – and it’s a stop they’re probably wishing they hadn’t made. With Survivor Series looming, Team Smackdown have continued their threats and tonight they follow through.. again. As Dean and Seth defend the Tag team Championships against Cesaro and Sheamus (who browbeat Kurt into giving them another shot) The New Day arrive and cause major disruption. The entire RAW locker room spilling out to ringside – the match seemingly forgotten. except its not forgotten by Sheamus. As New Day declare Under Siege Part 2, Sheamus Brogue kicks a distracted Seth Rollins and takes him down for the 3 count. Dean is held back by Cesaro on the outside, unable to save his partner. The Bar are the new Tag Team Champions.

Cesaro and Sheamus leave the scene of the crime asap, leaving Dean and Seth seething. But we feel like it’s the New Day that might now be on the receiving end of The Shield’s wrath. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Cesaro & Sheamus def. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions
Given the rumors of a second SmackDown LIVE raid on Raw following the siege two weeks ago, it was no surprise that Team Blue once again crossed the battle lines. What was surprising was the way the blue brand intruders managed to change the complexion of Survivor Series’ head-to-head competition for brand supremacy by allowing Cesaro & Sheamus to supplant Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins as Raw Tag Team Champions.

Looking to prove themselves as more worthy representatives of Raw at Survivor Series than Ambrose & Rollins, The Bar (who arrived to their match in a full Liverpool kit) had successfully petitioned Kurt Angle for one final championship match against The Shield’s resident titleholders. They made good on the opportunity, too, battling to a standstill until a surprise appearance from The New Day threw everything into chaos.

Big E’s roar of “AWWW MANCHESTER” brought the action to a halt and ya boys entered through the crowd in SmackDown blue a la The Shield to announce the arrival of “Under Siege Part II,” which brought out Angle and the entire Raw roster to chase them off. Despite the chaos, however, the match had never ended, and The Celtic Warrior blasted Rollins with a wicked Brogue Kick in the confusion. Sheamus made the cover, Cesaro held Ambrose down, and new champions were crowned as Angle and The Shield looked on in disbelief. With Roman Reigns slated to return next week, The Hounds of Justice will have plenty of business on their plate. And as for The Bar? Well, on Sunday, Nov. 19, they’ll report to The Uso Penitentiary.

It can truly be said that WWE Live’s November tour through the United Kingdom and Europe has gotten some Game.

During a WWE Live Event featuring Raw Superstars Wednesday night, the WWE Universe in Glasgow, Scotland’s SSE Hydro bore witness as Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins introduced WWE COO and 14-time World Champion Triple H and presented him with an official Shield vest.

“Desperate times call for desperate measures,” said The Kingslayer on his need to recruit The King of Kings, his WrestleMania 33 opponent and longtime adversary.” And if there’s one trick I have learned in the last few years, it’s always have a Plan B.”

Before the fans had the opportunity to catch their collective breath, The Cerebral Assassin donned The Shield vest and joined Rollins & fellow Raw Tag Team Champion Dean Ambrose in action against the formidable combination of Bray Wyatt, Cesaro & Sheamus.

And if there was any question as to how well Triple H would gel with his Shield teammates, those questions (and Cesaro) were put to rest when The Game and The Hounds of Justice delivered a Triple Power Bomb to The Swiss Cyborg for the victory.

Then, in a historic moment, Triple H joined fists with Rollins and Ambrose and sent the people of Glasgow into an absolute frenzy.

The earth-shattering events during the evening’s Live Event in Scotland once again proved that anything can happen at any time in WWE.

Tense times on RAW as Survivor Series looms, the show starting out with Kurt Angle gathering the entire locker room to apologize for last weeks invasion, only for Stephanie to interrupt and tell him RAW better destroy Smackdown at the upcoming Pay Per View or there’ll be hell to pay. Later on in the night, Seth and Dean face down Kane who’s back and meaner than ever. Seth Rollins faces him one on one, but Dean sticks at ringside in case Sheamus and Cesaro get involved – which inevitably they do. Seth is defeated by Kane, but as he goes to inflict further damage after the bell rings, Dean jumps to his partners aid, nailing Kane with Dirty Deeds. It’s not enough to keep Kane down however, he gets to his feet and with the aid of Cesaro and Sheamus, subdues Dean, hitting him with a Tombstone. Seth Rollins tries to protect his partner from further harm, but ends up on the receiving end of a Tombstone also. Ouch.. bad night for team Shield.

Once upon a time, Kane was Seth Rollins’ bodyguard, backup and Director of Operations. These days, he’s Rollins’ tormentor.

Minutes after ruthlessly attacking SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan (another former ally), The Devil’s Favorite Demon showed no mercy to Rollins in a singles bout on Raw. Kane all but shut out The Kingslayer’s offense save for a late stretch that stymied The Big Red Machine momentarily, or at least until Cesaro & Sheamus jumped Dean Ambrose at ringside, causing Rollins to take his eye off the ball.

The Architect paid for his distraction with a Chokeslam that cost him the match, and a 3-on-2 assault of The Shield by Kane and The Bar nearly cost him much more than that, as The Big Red Machine administered a ruthless Tombstone to Ambrose. When Rollins attempted to crawl atop his partner to protect him, The Devil’s Favorite Demon Tombstoned him as well.

Last night at TLC was a rough night for Ambrose and Rollins, but it doesn’t stop them coming in guns blazing to RAW and to the aid of their Honorary Shield member Kurt Angle’s aid. As The Miz and his goons once again surround the ring, Dean and Seth storm the stairs and invade the ring, chasing off the threat. Angle quickly makes a match. Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus vs Dean, Seth and surprise guest superstar AJ Styles! Last time Dean and AJ saw each other they were feuding over the WWE Championship on Smackdown, but times change. The trio work flawlessly together and knock Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus down yet another peg with a swift defeat. However, it’s not the end to their night as the vicious Kane interrupts their victory party and attacks all three. Cesaro and Sheamus jump back in and the beatdown begins. Kane left standing over the body of Seth Rollins.

Later on, AJ Styles proves where his loyalties lie as Team Smackdown invade RAW and tear through the locker room beating down everyone in their path. Dean and Seth lie in wait and do their best, but 2 against a whole locker room is a short fight. There’ll be hell to pay at Survivor Series. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

AJ Styles & Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro & Sheamus
AJ Styles showed up to WWE TLC on about five minutes of sleep and still gave “The Demon” Finn Bálor the fight of his life. So, you can imagine how the former WWE Champion competed after a full night’s rest when he teamed with The Shield against the formidable combo of The Miz & The Bar in Raw’s opening contest.

For one, Styles’ presence was a galvanizing force for his two teammates, who had been through a hellish TLC Match not 24 hours earlier, to say nothing of a Raw audience that was pumped to see the former WWE Champion again. And he proved to be a life-saver as well, tagging into the match in the waning minutes when Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins needed him most. A Phenomenal Forearm to Cesaro earned the victory after The Shield dispatched Miz and Sheamus with stereo suicide dives, but the arrival of Kane and subsequent five-on-three beatdown ended Styles’ night on a note that was far from phenomenal.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle intended to use Team Red’s main event to announce the brand’s competitors for this year’s Men’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Unfortunately, an offhanded remark earlier in the evening to visiting SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon about the blue brand’s supposedly thin ranks came back to haunt The Olympic Hero when The Prodigal Son marched his roster through the audience to surround Angle in the ring and place Raw “under siege.”

With The New Day leading the charge, SmackDown picked the Raw Superstars apart one by one across the entire backstage area. Chad Gable made a beeline for Jason Jordan, the Women’s roster handily overpowered Sasha Banks & Co., and Baron Corbin even took out a hapless backstage worker. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins put up the toughest fight by attacking from the shadows, but Team Blue overpowered The Hounds of Justice before leading Angle back to the top of the ramp.

Rusev and Corbin marched the Raw General Manager to the ring for a final face-to-face confrontation with Shane, who commanded Angle to bring his gold medal and what was left of his roster to Survivor Series, where SmackDown would finish what they started. And given the display that had just unfolded, Shane didn’t even have to steal Angle’s catchphrase (though he did anyway) for The Olympic Hero to realize that his promise may very well come true.

Coming in to TLC, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins already had the odds stacked against them. A 5 on 3 handicap match in one of the most dangerous environments possible. Then just days before the match, the third of their team – Roman Reigns – is struck down with illness. Dean and Seth face 5 on 2 odds and are willing to let it go down like that, except Kurt Angle offers to step in off of an 11 year hiatus and help them out. Something that angers Miz even more. So for one night only, Kurt Angle becomes an honorary member of The Shield, and he looks pretty good in black!

Despite having all of the odds against them, they emerge victorious after a long and brutal battle that saw Dean and Seth literally fighting for their lives. TLC remains The Shields Pay Per View, even if they were down a Big Dog. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Kurt Angle & Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman & Kane (3-on-5 Handicap Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match)
It wasn’t just the vest, or the fact that he entered the ring through the crowd with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Kurt Angle, acting as an “honorary member of The Shield” in his first WWE match in 11 years, proved as natural a fit for The Hounds of Justice as the sidelined Roman Reigns in the epic 5-on-3 Handicap Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match that pit the impromptu trio against the all-star squad of The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman & Kane, helping guide the brothers in black to a winning effort in the chaotic match.

Despite being on the short end of the contest’s handicap, Angle leaned heavily into the first of his legendary Three I’s (“Intensity”) in his early offense while Ambrose & Rollins threw caution to the wind by leaping off of ladders with a Frog Splash-elbow drop combo that drove Strowman and Kane through the announce tables. Angle singlehandedly took his opponents apart with suplexes to Miz and Cesaro and an Ankle Lock attempt to Kane, but rust still turned The Olympic Hero into the de facto weak link of the group. That made him ripe pickings for Strowman, who thinned The Shield’s ranks by hitting him with a Running Powerslam through a table that brought out a crew of trainers to take Angle to the back.

With a 5-on-2 advantage, the only thing that could have stopped Miz’s crew at this point was themselves — and it seemed like that would happen when Kane accidentally blasted Strowman with a chair, setting off an intense showdown between the two dominant big men. Miz quickly got his team back on track, bringing in a garbage truck to literalize his pre-match promise to treat The Shield and Angle like “garbage.”

Ambrose & Rollins managed to fight out of the truck’s bed and prepared to take Kane out with a double suplex through a table, which Strowman quickly broke up … and The Big Red Machine paid Braun back by chokeslamming him through the stage and releasing a deluge of chairs from the ceiling onto him. Strowman soon stirred to life, but with a loose cannon among them, The Miz, The Bar and Kane had no choice but to throw The Monster Among Men into the garbage truck, close the bed on him and have him driven away.

Still sitting pretty at 4-on-2, The Miz and his cohorts were all but certain to walk away victorious, with The Big Red Machine inches from Tombstoning Ambrose into the dirt. And then Angle returned with a glint in his eye and ice in his veins. The four-time WWE Champion singlehandedly dismantled The Bar with a pair of Angle Slams — Cesaro’s through a table — while Ambrose & Rollins took Kane out with a double Spear through the barricade.

The Miz, now left alone with his General Manager, showed unexpected grit by administering a Skull-Crushing Finale for a two-count and then escaping an Ankle Lock. But when the Raw Tag Team Champions returned to circle The A-Lister, what came next was all but a foregone conclusion: Ripcord Knee, Dirty Deeds, and Angle Slam, followed by a ring-shaking Triple Powerbomb with Angle covering Miz for the pinfall.

Seventeen years to the day after winning his first WWE Title in this same building, Kurt Angle has returned, and in a match where Ambrose & Rollins vowed to go out on their shields, your Olympic Hotel-Echo-Romeo-Oscar instead rode to glory on his. Oh, it’s true.

Last week The Shield reunited, this week the men in black returned. A blast from the past as the old ‘Sierra. Hotel..’ rang out around the arena at the start of RAW, interrupting Kurt Angle. The trio of hounds emerging at the top of the stairs decked out in their black tactical gear and ready – as always – for war. They stalk down to the ring and dismiss Kurt Angle, then Dean goes on to state that The Miz has made a grave mistake, reuniting the masters of in ring warfare. Nobody does it better than them, and they don’t care how many people Miz gets on to his team, they’ll run through all of them. A challenge Miz accepts, launching a plan to get a 5th member on to his team!

All Braun Strowman has to do is defeat Roman inside a steel cage.

That aside, Dean and Seth march into another battle with Sheamus and Cesaro for the Tag team Championships, a match as high adrenaline as theirs always are. Dean and Seth are successful in retaining their titles, but that momentum is stopped in its tracks as the main event spirals out of control. The Miz locking Seth and Dean out of the arena as they intercept Cesaro and Sheamus, a surprise return from Kane – seemingly after Romans blood in return for his retiring The Undertaker – sees Roman defeated by Strowman. Miz gets his 5th man at TLC. But The Shield have faced down greater odds before. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

The Shield may have formalized their reunion last week with their trademark fist bump, but for the first time in three years, Raw opened with the crackle of “Sierra, Hotel, India… ” and the sight of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns donning black and marching through the audience to surround someone in the ring — in this case, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, who quickly turned over the mic and made his exit.

It was awesome (as the WWE Universe chanted), and if there were any concerns that The Hounds of Justice had lost a step, they immediately launched into a scorched-earth proclamation to pick up right where they left off at WWE TLC. And even though Ambrose’s tough talk inadvertently got Braun Strowman added to the upcoming TLC Match last week, The Lunatic Fringe only doubled down on his resolve — he reiterated that The Shield could take on any number of opponents and challenged their TLC foes to throw down on the spot.

The Miz, Braun Strowman and The Bar came to the stage to oblige, but Angle got between the two squadrons, reminding them that The Bar would challenge Ambrose & Rollins for the Raw Tag Team Titles and Strowman would battle The Big Dog in a Steel Cage Match tonight. It was enough to stop the fists from flying, but there’ll be no such restraint on anyone’s part come Sunday.

Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins def. Cesaro & Sheamus
Perhaps it was the thrill of being back in black, but Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins were even more rabid than usual in a successful retention of the Raw Tag Team Titles against Cesaro & Sheamus, whose opportunity had only been sanctioned hours earlier.

After getting taken out early, The Lunatic Fringe re-entered the match like a house on fire in relief of Rollins, who had been neutralized for a stretch. The Bar upped the ante with Ambrose running rampant, mixing both smarts (Cesaro wisely avoided another slingshot into the ropes) and power (Sheamus hoisted Ambrose up for a Cesaro springboard uppercut). But Rollins provided the final boost for his brother, rushing the match and instigating a brawl that The Lunatic Fringe closed out with Dirty Deeds to The King of Swing for the victory.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle banned The Miz, The Bar and The Shield from ringside to prevent outside interference and preserve the integrity of Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage, a match that would determine the complexion of the big TLC Match on Sunday. But he didn’t say anything about inside interference, and now Strowman’s victory expands The Shield’s opponents from four to five as a result.

To be fair, the rival teams ignored Angle’s initial decree as well, rushing the cage despite the General Manager’s orders. The Miz’s crew struck first, with The Bar cutting Roman off at the pass when he tried to escape the cage after momentarily felling Strowman. The Shield quickly neutralized the interference, but The Monster Among Men hauled Reigns over the cage right into a superplex, and when the brawl between The Shield and The Bar continued into the parking lot, Miz himself locked them out of the arena by closing the door of the loading dock.

Reigns managed to fight his way back into contention by hitting Strowman with three Superman Punches and a Spear, but the tide quickly turned when the arena plunged into red light and Kane rose from beneath the ring to administer two bone-rattling chokeslams to the former WWE Champion. Strowman followed up with a Running Powerslam, The Big Red Monster piled on with a Tombstone, and a second Running Powerslam from The Gift of Destruction earned the decisive pinfall and expanded his squadron by one for Sunday in the process. And, as Miz informed the WWE Universe, in case that wasn’t enough of a hint, The Devil’s Favorite Demon was, indeed, his final teammate for WWE TLC.

Dean Ambrose said The Shield could take on five opponents and win. The Hounds of Justice are about to be put to that exact test.
