After Corey Graves last week challenged any member of The Shield to a one on one match, Seth Rollins stepped up to the task being as the pair had history on the show, giving Ambrose and Reigns ‘The night off’. But what are the chances they’d really stay at home? Slim to none.

As momentum swung in the favor of Graves during the match, Ambrose and Reigns charged through the crowd and took out the 12 Lumberjacks surrounding the ring (yes, count ’em… 12. Even Dean’s surprised, check out what he says at the end of the video!) and then Ambrose went on to sneak attack Graves, setting him up for Rollins to pick the bones and pick up the win. The most destructive force in the WWE united once again. If 13 men can’t take them out, a giant and a viper and a pasty white dude can’t. Then who can?

After resisting a call out from 3MB earlier in the show (which was keenly answered by Brock Lesnar instead, 3MB didn’t survive), The Shield also went on to ignore Team Hell No as they picked up a victory against the Prime Time Players, despite a massive match being announced for next week in which The Shield will take on Team Hell No and The Undertaker. It seemed as though maybe The Shield weren’t in town to deliver their brand of justice tonight, but they were just biding their time.

As the multiple time PPV failure Ryback responded to John Cena’s call out, the two postured in the ring for a time and Cena demanded Ryback earn his title shot (why should he? He only lost seven PPV matches in a row, surely that qualifies him #Sarcasm). Ryback chose to instead walk away from Cena and as he made his way up the ramp, The Shields battle cry struck. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns stalking down to the ring and hesitating as they surrounded Cena, looking to Ryback who simply watched from the ramp. The Shield attacked, viciously assaulting Cena while Ryback looked on. With Cena well and truly down, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns looked to Ryback for rebuttal but none came, Ryback simply walked further up the ramp and then turned to watch as The Shield struck Cena with their trademark Triple Powerbomb. Eventually Ryback left the scene completely and RAW went off air to the Shield standing united over the Champions fallen body.

Next week, there’ll be Hell to pay. Ha, get it?

After their tactical retreat on Monday, The Shield interrupted Team Hell No’s Smackdown victory celebration to kindly inform them they shouldn’t dare begin to think that their tactics on Monday were a sign of weakness. Theres always a time to strike, or as Ambrose once said a long time ago; Sometimes you just don’t have the cards, it’s better to fold ’em. Still, it must be nice for Kane to have stood side by side with his brother The Undertaker again, one big happy family. But, The Shield doesn’t back down from a fight. It looks like this one is far from over.

Later on in the night the unsigned no-hit wonders 3MB decide to try and make a name for themselves Shield style and interrupt Triple H as he addresses the crowd. Copying the tactics of Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns they surround the ring while Triple H looks on, less than impressed. However, Triple H’s mood soon changes as the battle cry of The Shield themselves echoes out around the arena hailing their arrival. Actually giving him something to worry about as the trio come down to the ring, surrounding it as well. Triple H 6 on 1? Well, I guess he’s overcome some pretty steep odds in his career. However that isn’t immediately what The Shield came to deal with, instead turning their attentions to their imitators 3MB and beating the **** out of them. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I don’t think The Shield agree.

3MB disposed of, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns turn their attention to Triple H. But before they can strike, Team Hell No to the rescue! Irritated by the interruption, The Shield back off. It’s all tactics, you wait and see.

The Shield’s unstoppable path of destruction wound it’s way back to NXT this week as they returned to their old stomping grounds to put a handful of rookies firmly in their place. Well guys, if you want to make it to the big leagues I’m guessing now you probably have to pass through The Shield first and tonight? You failed. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns dominated their opponents from the outset and never relented. Using their ‘pack of dogs’ tactics and fast tags to keep them disoriented, it wasn’t long before a vicious double team between Ambrose and Rollins left their opponent easy pickings. Rollins hitting a devastating finisher and picking up the three count.

But The Shield weren’t done as Ambrose rolled one of their victims back in to the ring, a trademark Shield beat down commencing before nailing him with the Triple Powerbomb. Talk about insult to injury. Ambrose then demanded the mic and snatched it from the poor staff worker, declaring that once again Justice had been served at NXT. Rollins took the mic from him and reminded the crowd they were the most dominant and efficient force in the history of the company. Roman finishing out with ‘Believe in the Shield’.. however, that wasn’t to be all, as Corey Graves interrupted on the big screen. Telling them that everybody around them might buy in to the Shield, but he doesn’t and they aren’t welcome on his show. Corey challenging any member of The Shield to a one on one bout.

Ambrose looked positively amused while Rollins took the mic, stating he’d finish it with Corey Graves next week. Ambrose and Reigns could take the night off. Ha, what are the chances? Good luck Corey, you’re gonna need it!

After making a tactical retreat on RAW on Monday after their intended target, the Legendary Undertaker, received help from Team Hell No. The Shield had a point to prove tonight as they stormed on to Main Event to take on Tensai, Brodus and Kofi Kingston. A possible match for our Trio? After all they have two heavy guys and one high flier, surely something to match each member of The Shield?

Hm, no such luck for them. The Shield were as on form as ever and despite the opposing team getting in a small amount of offense early on, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns quickly regrouped and set about picking apart their opponents in that swarm of hornets style of theirs. The commentators describing them as ‘Gnats at a picnic’.. well that’s not very nice is it! After a flurry of action and misdirection a spear from Reigns left Rollins to pick up the scraps and the win for the team.

Not content with just beating their opponents however, they had a message to send to The Undertaker. Triple Powerbombing Tensai and Brodus and clearing out the ring, they stood in their trademark pose and drew the battle lines. Will Undertaker respond?

Coming in hot off of their massive debut victory at Wrestlemania, The Shield set out to make history tonight and what better way to do that than to target the biggest icon and legend in the business. But have the finally bitten off more than they can chew? As The Undertaker began to make a speech about his Wrestlemania match and how it was dedicated to the late, great Paul Bearer, The Shield picked their moment to strike.

Heading down to the ring The Undertaker was fearless and threw aside his coat as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns surrounded the ring, intent on savaging the Deadman. But with an explosion that made us all jump out of our seats, Kane and Daniel Bryan came to the rescue! Getting swiftly to Takers side, The Shield backed off. Time to regroup and figure out how to overcome this problem, but one things’ for sure, if they ever wanted to make a cemented name for themselves, taking down The Undertaker is the way to do it!
