The Shield are loitering backstage on Monday Night RAW when almost inevitably they’re confronted by Kane about their actions on Friday night. However, Kane seems more forgiving than his usual self and tells them their actions were regrettable and could have bad ramifications, to which Ambrose quietly responds, “Yeah, for you.” – Ooh, shots fired. Kane however dismisses this too and tells the trio the Authority has given them a mission and he needs them to co-operate, reminding them that if he can’t get along with them that means the Authority can’t get along with them. And if the Authority can’t count on them, well, they cease being an asset and become expendable. After a moments deliberation Rollins confirms they’re united and they’ll do whats best for business. Roman adds his trademark ‘Believe that’ and Kane smirks it off, telling them he believes they’ll do whats right or they’ll find out just how replaceable they are. With that Kane takes his leave, Ambrose throwing up a sarcastic thumbs up behind his back as the scene fades out.

Later on in the night Kane comes to the ring and addresses last weeks episode with Daniel Bryan and his ‘Occupy RAW’ movement. He and the Authority blame one Jerry Lawler for the cops not doing anything to stop the invasion of the ring, being as it was his home town. This means he’s in for some dire consequences – and out come The Shield.

Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns surround the announce table and Ambrose gets in Lawlers face, demanding he get up and get in to the ring to face what’s coming to him. Under such pressure, Jerry does as he’s ordered to do and reluctantly removes his headset. He’s guided to the ring by Ambrose and Reigns and escorted up the steps. Once inside, The Shield corner Jerry as Kane removes his suit jacket and tells him he’s not going to enjoy this.. much. Rollins produces a mic from one of his many pockets and tells Jerry not to worry, Daniel Bryan isn’t coming to save him, because The Shield always do what’s best for business. With that said, all three members of The Shield turn away from Lawler, and fix their sights on Kane.

Gasp! It finally happened. To a roar of cheer from the crowd The Shield circle Kane and as he asks what they’re doing, Ambrose ominously states “I think you know what we’re doing.” Kane gets in Romans face and tells them they don’t have enough experience in the business to make this decision, but that doesn’t stop them. The Hounds of Justice unleashing a savage mauling that ends with Kane on the receiving end of a Triple Powerbomb. Are The Shield finally fighting for the forces of good? Or just themselves? With Lawler a huge crowd favorite, it’s a definite check in the ‘Good Guy’ column. But is it wise to anger a big red monster?

The Shield started out their RAW with a trip to the Principals Office – AKA, Kane. The Authoritys honcho telling them they’re a valuable asset and should continue to be but just recently they’ve been causing trouble. He decides to put them to the test, calling out Reigns and Rollins as the two that started the fractures in The Shield when they lost the Tag Team Titles. Maybe that loss upset them too much and tonight they’d get the opportunity to ‘exorcise that demon’ in another match against the Rhodes Brothers. The Shield accept, but not before Rollins fires back, asking if Kane wasn’t just trying to deflect attention off of himself and pass it on to them, after all, as he’s reminded sarcastically by Ambrose – he’s done nothing but lose lately himself. Kane tells them they had better just do as they’re told or become disposable. With that, The Shield take their leave.

Later on in the night Reigns and Rollins head in to battle against Rhodes and Goldust, with Ambrose at ringside he successfully manages to keep himself to himself for the duration of the match and not get involved beyond a fist bump with Reigns after a successful dropkick on the apron. For once it pays off and Reigns and Rollins are able to secure the victory with nothing but Dean’s moral support. A celebratory Shield reunited. Have they exorcised the demon?

Ladies and Gentlemen we gather here today to potentially mourn the loss of the greatest Faction to ever have graced WWE… okay maybe that’s a little premature, but after tonight things don’t look good for the Hounds of Justice. The Shield headed in to rematch battle against the crafty Wyatt Family with vengeance on their minds, all three members fired up for the bout and striking first as Dean and Seth hurled themselves through the ropes at Harper and Rowan, taking them out before setting on Bray. Getting an early advantage it seemed as though The Shield were on the same page and in firm control as Seth became a one man missile taking out everybody. However, it wasn’t long before the cracks began to show and one wrong move from Seth put him in the clutches of the Wyatts, beginning to take a gruelling punishment.

Bray meanwhile, taunted Ambrose on the outside causing the incident that perhaps will prove to be the crack that shattered The Shield. As Ambrose went after the taunting Wyatt, Reigns went after him to keep him from attacking, leaving nobody in a beaten Seths corner for him to tag out to. Rollins was snared back in to the clutches of the Wyatts and endured a further beat down. Eventually he was able to tag out to Dean and he came in guns blazing, attacking everything with the menace of a rabid dog, but once again the Wyatts wily tactics were able to ground him, although Dean remained defiant in the face of his assault, even spitting in Harpers face, prompting Harper to simply stand on it – ouch. With Seth recovering from his beat down Roman was left to attempt to make the save for Ambrose, but ended up brawling on the outside. This time leaving Ambrose to fend for himself. Eventually Rollins was able to make it back to the apron and as a badly beaten Ambrose crawled for the tag – Seth simply turned away.

As Dean slumped over the ropes in disbelief at his one time best friends actions, Seth seemed to agonize over the decision for a few moments, before leaving ringside. Heading up the ramp with Reigns chasing after him. Ambrose remained in the ring, stunned. Reigns demanded to know what Seth was doing and Seth told him nobody had been there for him when he’d needed someone to tag out to, he could no longer be the glue that the held The Shield together. Roman and Dean would have to figure things out for themselves.

Back in the ring, a distressed Ambrose is attacked from behind and the assault from the Wyatts continues. Reigns charges the ring, leaving Seth watching from the ramp. For a handful of moments it seems as though Dean and Roman may be able to work together to fend off The Wyatts, but as it spills to the outside Reigns ends up neutralized by Harper and Rowan, and Ambrose eats the ringpost courtesy of Bray. Dean’s rolled in to the ring and Wyatt torments him as Rollins looks on and does nothing. Bray picks Dean up and hits him with ‘Sister Abigail’, picking up the three count and standing victorious over his battered body.

Rollins continues to do nothing. Is this the end?

After Ambrose went AWOL at Elimination Chamber during an altercation with Bray in the crowd, Reigns was left alone to take the brunt of the Wyatt Family and suffer the teams defeat. So naturally, on RAW, Rollins and Reigns want answers. Unfortunately for them Ambrose isn’t in a talking mood, yelling at them instead and telling them he already explained a hundred times what happened and he’s sick of being interrogated about it and he’s sick of them ganging up on him. If his explanation isn’t good enough for them and if they don’t trust him then whatever, he’s out.

Rollins calls him back but Ambrose is long gone. Leaving Seth and Roman to talk between themselves, until they’re interrupted by the Wyatts. Roman challenges Bray to a match one on one, Bray accepts.

Later on in the night as inevitably Rowan and Harper interrupt the match between Roman and Bray, it’s Rollins to the rescue, leaping over the ropes to crash in to the pair. But it’s not enough. Harper and Rowan get their hands on Seth and Bray sends Roman crashing to the outside. Rollins looks as though he’s in for a beat down when Dean races from the back – leather coat and all, I guess he really was leaving. Ambrose leaps in to the fray and evens the numbers, assaulting Bray in the ring and getting Roman disqualified. But that doesn’t seem to matter so much as mayhem breaks out again between the two factions. Eventually The Shield are left standing in the ring, the Wyatts seen off for now.

But the tensions still crackling. Personally, we think Rollins and Reigns are being too hard on him.

An eventful start to the week for The Shield as a recap of Dean’s misadventure against Mark Henry is played, leading us into an interview with Renee Young and the men in black. Dean starts things out by announcing that he’s surprised Mark Henry even turned up this week for a match against Roman, after the beating he took last week. Something that Roman instantly scoffs at. Dean retorts with ‘Oh and I suppose you think you can do better?’ to which the annoyingly cocky Roman responds that he knows he can. Anybody else getting a little agitated with his arrogance? Yeah, us too. Dean throws his hands in the air and rolls his eyes, leaving Renee to change the subject to the Wyatts. Seth gets us back on topic and reminds the world once again they’re not afraid of the spooky trio, to which Dean reclaims Renees attention and waves his fingers in her face, telling her that the Wyatts are nothing but an illusion and their mind games don’t work on The Shield. Roman chimes in to end that the Shield don’t experience fear and they don’t back down. Believe that.

Later on in the night Ambrose and Rollins accompany Roman to his match against Henry. While he seems supportive, Dean remains ancy on the outside as Roman takes it to the big man. Initially getting his booty kicked, until a well timed Samoan drop followed by his Superman Punch and eventual Spear score Roman the three count – much to Deans dismay. While Rollins bounds in to the ring to celebrate with his partner, Dean hangs back, clearly annoyed. Getting in to the ring eventually to stand at Romans side, but theres no congratulating today. Instead Dean turns on Henry, kicking him when he’s down and forcing him out of the ring in true oldschool Shield style. The beatdown beginning.. alone. Roman leans over the ropes and asks Dean what he’s doing? Well duh, Roman. Doing what The Shield have done for a solid year. Attack and dominate. What, suddenly too good for that? Dean’s about to get in his face when they’re interrupted by The Wyatts.

Once again The Shield are united as The Wyatts speak from the Titantron, asking them if theirs is a cause they’re willing to die for, if they aren’t, they’ve already lost. This time Roman cuts them off, telling them to bring that noise to the ring. Wyatt seems amused and tells him they were thinking the same thing. Seconds later, The Wyatts are making their way to the ring. The Shield ready for them, the standoff begins again. Both teams across from one another waiting for someone to snap. Just as it looks like it’s going to, Bray orders his men to stand down. The Wyatts backing away yet again… mind games?

Later on in the night as Sheamus and Randy Orton battle, The Shield attack and break up the match. Leading to every member of the Elimination Chamber match racing to the ring. A brawl broken up by The Wyatts, appearing out of the darkness to stand across from The Shield. With tensions high, they finally explode. The two teams tearing in to each other as RAW goes off air.

Our first sighting of The Shield this monday comes when we’re taken backstage to find the trio with roving reporter Renee Young, who asks them about their upcoming match against the Wyatts and the fact that Bray has had some pretty harsh words for them. A rather smooth Reigns tells her that actions speak louder than words while Rollins decrees that while the Wyatts speak in riddles, the Shield speak in absolutes. Ambrose picks up and says the only absolute is The Shield destroying the Wyatts at Elimination Chamber. Renee however, seems unimpressed. Turning her attention to Dean and his United States Championship and plainly asking him if he was ever going to defend it again? Indignant, Ambrose tries to enlighten the bubbly blonde that Championship matches don’t just fall out of thin air, theres a lot of red tape, a lot of paperwork, nobody is brave enough – to which Roman simply cuts him off and asks him what he’s talking about. Rude! Obviously Roman hasn’t held a Championship long enough to know what it’s like! Ambrose indignantly declares that he’s a fighting Champion and in fact he’ll issue an open challenge tonight to whoevers brave enough. Then, he stalks away, leaving Rollins rolling his eyes and Reigns amused. Psht.

Later on in the night Ambrose comes out with Reigns and Rollins behind him, entering the ring and issuing his challenge and at first there seems to be no takers – until the dreaded theme of Mark Henry hits. Ambrose suddenly looks like he’s regretting his decision, but stands his ground as the worlds strongest man lumbers down to the ring. Reigns and Rollins head to the outside as the match gets underway and first Dean attempts to out move Henry, only to find himself trapped and flung around like a ragdoll. He makes a quick escape to the outside and regroups with a pep talk from Rollins and Reigns. Back in the ring, he finds his stride and goes after Henrys injured arm, ripping off his bandaging and attacking it. Only to get tossed out on to the floor. He then finds himself manhandled on the outside, his head squashed against the post like a grape. Ouch. Once back in the ring, a lucky break sees Ambrose regain control and go after the arm again. He begins to get cocky, taking Henry down and grounding him. But sadly it doesn’t last as Henry simply uses his other arm to beat his way out of the situation. A worlds strongest slam later, and it looks like Ambrose is going to lose his title. Rollins to the rescue! The match is ended and Ambrose disqualified, but at least he gets to keep his gold. The Shield assault Henry and leave him on the outside, heading for the stairs.

Only to be cut off by The Wyatts. So begins one of the most intense standoffs in RAW history as both trios take a side of the ring. Like pieces in a chess game they move one step forward at a time, until Roman dares the Wyatts to get in to the ring with him. Bray almost does so.. but then on second thought, backs away. Taking his cohorts with him. Ambrose and Rollins join Reigns in the ring and stand ground as The Wyatts back off. Chills.

With their issues seemingly behind them The Shield headed in to RAW to face a team of Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. But the threat of the Wyatt Family was most definitely looming in the air as recaps played of the match made this past Friday night. Ambrose and Langston started things out and Dean was temporarily grounded by the big man and hauled to the corner for a tag in to Kofi, Dean made his comeback and tagged out to Rollins, the two high fliers setting up a fast pace. After a few weeks of problems all three members seemed to be back on the same page and worked seamlessly to isolate Mysterio, however as per usual things began to break down and after Roman received a nasty cut to his face courtesy of Langston (Is he trying to destroy The Shields faces?), Reigns was ready to take him down with his Spear when Ambrose tagged himself in! Dean quickly hit Langston with his Headlock Driver and picked up the win for the team – but Roman wasn’t happy. Once again the cracks began to show as Ambrose and Reigns squared off in the middle of the ring, but peacemaker Rollins wasn’t far behind. Getting in between the two and reminding them a wins a win. Tempers cooled only for them to be interrupted by the Wyatts with another chilling message.

Later on in the night as The Wyatts picked up a victory in a 6 Man Tag, The Shield took their opportunity to send their own message. Ambrose appearing on the Titantron with waving spooky fingers at them, oooooh, scary. He informs the Wyatts that they live in the real world and don’t believe in any of their hocus pocus mumbo jumbo crap! So they can just take it elswhere. Rollins tells them they’re figments of their own imagination and The Shield don’t play those games, while Roman reminds us all to Believe. The trio show their unity once more – but Bray says he welcomes this war. I have a feeling it’s going to get messy.

Even with the WWE Universe roaring its approval, though, speaking up against the corporate power has never done anyone much good in WWE, and so it was that Bryan was soon besieged by The Shield, who The Authority was all too happy to sic on the besieged fan favorite. It took Sheamus to help give Bryan a fighting shot, and, finally, John Cena to even the odds enough that The Hounds of Justice beat a hasty retreat. To top it all off, Bryan might get what he wants yet: As a result of the melee, he, Cena & Sheamus were confirmed to face The Shield in Raw’s main event, and the winners would be headed into the Elimination Chamber.

Danel Bryan, John Cena & Sheamus punched their tickets to the Elimination Chamber by beating The Shield to earn their way into the match, though they do owe the win to a surprising, DQ-inducing interference.

After a tight back-and-forth in the opening, The Shield trapped Cena in the numbers game, and Roman Reigns providing the exclamation point via Superman punch; Seth Rollins followed up by knocking Bryan off the apron and attempting to bait Sheamus into an illegal bum-rush of the ring. Cena managed to create separation with an Attitude Adjustment to Dean Ambrose, at which point he finally – finally – found Bryan for the tag. The submission master immediately went to work, hacking away at Seth Rollins until Reigns and Ambrose tried to instigate a brawl to throw off the match.

Cena & Sheamus neutralized the threat, leaving Rollins and Bryan to brawl it out. Which they did, extensively, to such a degree that Cena and Reigns had to tag in. The big man immediately fell to the STF and was about to break the hold when – they’re here – The Wyatts crashed the party for the second time in consecutive evenings. Without warning, the outlandish trio laid into Cena, delivering the win to his squad in the process. In other words, “YES!”, WWE Universe: Daniel Bryan is headed to the Elimination Chamber. As for The Shield? Their road to WrestleMania just got a little bit rockier.

What tension? The Shield – seemingly on shaky terms last Friday during SmackDown – looked as dominant as ever on Raw, mauling Cody Rhodes, Goldust & Big E Lansgston into defeat in what may be among their finest Six-Man Tag Team showings. That the bout ended in victory was something of a surprise for The Hounds of Justice, though, because the three champions seemed to have The Shield’s number from the jump-off.

Emulating their opponents’ numbers-game strategy, Langston & “The Brotherhood” sequestered Seth Rollins from his teammates and went to town on the men in black’s resident strategist, to the tune of a soaring cross body by Cody Rhodes to the outside. Roman Reigns got the Hounds rolling again, though a Disaster Kick and a fresh tag from Big E cut the comeback short. Langston had Dean Ambrose all to himself, and if not for timely interferences by all three Shield-mates, the bout might have ended in his favor. Alas, it was Rollins who won the day, capitalizing off a timely knee to Big E’s gut from Ambrose by stomping Langston’s head flat into the canvas.

After a few weeks of uncertainty and tension in The Shield it seems that despite the unfortunate incident with the snake thats best left in the past – the trio have well and truly gotten their mojo back. With a decisive victory on Smackdown, they walked in confident to RAW for another bout against Punk and the New Age Outlaws who were perhaps looking for retribution after their defeat on Friday night. However it wasn’t to be as The Shield proved once again this is about the future and not the past, controlling much of the match up until a showdown between Ambrose and Punk threatened to derail things. Ambrose’ anger over Punk certainly hasn’t lessened any and he threatened to lose his cool as the two faced off, only for Rollins to get him out of there and get things back on track. All three members went on to isolate Punk in their corner until a surge of adrenaline got Punk moving to tag out – only to be abandoned by his partners! Road Dogg and Billy Gunn heading for the hills and leaving Punk in the rabid jaws of The Shield.

Despite his best efforts, a distraction by Rollins and Ambrose led Punk straight in to a spear from Reigns. Game over. But the three headed threat didn’t leave it at that, picking up Punk after the bell hailed their victory and hitting him with their trademark Triple Powerbomb. Just putting the exclamation point in it! Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns were all smiles as they left ringside, and rightly so.
