Kicking off RAW The Shield were front and center asserting their roles as Triple H’s Mercenaries and apparent Bodyguards as he addressed the crowd and his actions regarding Daniel Bryan of late. Randy Orton was soon out to the party too and the WWE Champion and COO continued their tirade against Bryan until the underdog himself came out to confront them, keeping his distance though what with The Shield between them. After much back and forth banter about how Bryan isn’t fit to ever be the face of the company, Triple H decides to put Bryan in a match. A Gauntlet match to be exact, against all three members of The Shield. Starting with Rollins, then Ambrose, then Reigns. Daniel Bryan is in for a long night.

When the match finally rolled around to close the show, Seth Rollins started things out as Bryan’s first opponent, with Ambrose and Reigns circling the ring and looming in the background an ever constant threat as Bryan and Rollins battled it out with their usual intensity. Eventually however Daniel Bryan’s guts alone got him the win over Rollins though the victory is short and sweet as Ambrose immediately rushes the ring and begins stomping down on Bryan viciously. Ambrose continues his vicious assault until Bryan suddenly wraps him up in the Yes/No Lock! It looks like Ambrose is going to be forced to tap early but is saved by Reigns and instantly disqualified. However Reigns is immediately trapped in to the same move and The Shield has had enough. Ambrose and Rollins attacking Bryan viciously, the ref losing all control of the match.

Once The Shield have Daniel properly subdued, Triple H makes his way out on to the ramp, staring down the other Superstars gathered there forced to watch what happens when you cross the McMahon/Helmsley/Orton Regime. Triple H taunts them and then gives the nod to The Shield to hit Bryan with the Triple Powerbomb. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns follow through on orders and leave Daniel Bryan a broken mess on the mat. but it’s not over, Ortons music hits the PA and Triple H sends him down to get his revenge for Bryan vandalizing his car earlier in the night. Ambrose and Rollins hold Bryan still for Orton and Randy takes his shot, taunting Bryan and hitting him with the RKO.

Orton leaves the ring to rejoin Triple H in staring down the rest of the roster, while The Shield stand over Daniel Bryans body, a looming reminder of what will happen if you cross the Boss. RAW has become a police state, and The Shield are the enforcers. I don’t know about you, but I love it!

After Dolph Ziggler made some ill advised derogatory comments about Triple H on WWE.com, he was sentenced to a three on one handicap match against The Shield on RAW by devious GM Brad Maddox. But Dolph didn’t appear too phased as he marched to his doom. The Shield confronting him (complete with brand new embroidery on their gear, though Deans could use some re-placement!). It was Ambrose and Ziggler to start things out, a match up many of us have wanted to see for a long time and this was something of a teaser of what they could really bring us in the future. The two cautiously felt each other out with a trade of holds and attempted sleepers before Ambrose backed to his corner and tagged in Rollins.

Ziggler held his own against the trio and despite their usual tactic of fast tags in an attempt to keep Ziggler disoriented, it seemed as though they may just suffer a shocking defeat at the hands of the Show Off. But the numbers game as always won out and a devastating mid air spear from Reigns put the nail in Zigglers punishment coffin.

Ambrose returned to the ring with Rollins and the three finished Ziggler off with their trademark Triple Powerbomb. A surprising no show from RVD, Big Show or Mark Henry, but Ambrose and Ziggler is future money.

Later on in the night The Shield were called to action once again by Maddox as apparently The Big Show had also made some unflattering comments about Triple H on WWE.com. Big Show was sentenced to a three on one handicap with all members of The Shield in the ring at once. Despite taking a tumble on his knee earlier in the night Rollins seemed to be in fighting spirit as the Trio took on the Giant. Big Show immediately went after Reigns, taking out the power of the group and leaving Ambrose and Rollins to try and find a way to cut the Giant down. Despite being thwarted at almost every turn, Ambrose and Rollins were relentless and just kept coming, cutting Big Show down eventually. Once Reigns was back in the ring, they hit Show with their Triple Powerbomb and all three of them pinned him for the three count. Justice served.

Later on in the night The Shield were called upon again, this time to serve as a literal Shield for the McMahons, Triple H and Randy Orton as they addressed the crowd and their actions at Summerslam. As Triple H called out the browbeaten Daniel Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns were ordered to let him past but of course this was a bluff and The Shield attacked as soon as Bryan came near. Daniel fought back bravely but was soon set up for the Triple Powerbomb. However on Triple H’s order, they released Daniel and he was allowed in to the ring, only to receive an RKO from Randy Orton. It might not be justice.. but like they said, Justice isn’t free.

RAW is interrupted by The Shield lurking in the dark plotting more nefarious deeds. Upon realizing they have cameras on them they proceed to deliver a warning to the veterans roaming the halls of the WWE, guys like RVD and Mark Henry who are no longer relevant in this business, its time for them to step aside and let the young blood take over. That being said, Roman Reigns issues a challenge to any two men willing to step up and try and take the Tag Team Championships from them at Summerslam, who will be foolish enough? The camera goes to Ambrose who addresses an upcoming Battle Royal for a chance to face him at Summerslam for his United States Championship. He isn’t bothered who wins it though, theres nobody in the company that can match his talent right now. John Cena carries a trophy, CM Punk is just a catchphrase and to quote, Unless Andre the Giants ghost is in the battle royal, nobody is taking his United States Championship. Believe that!

Later on in the night the Battle Royal came down to Mark Henry and RVD, with RVD eventually pulling the win out of the bag. Much to everyones surprise Mark Henry returned to the ring to congratulate RVD on his (why would you do that?) when The Shield interrupt, Ambrose and co marching down to the ring to confront RVD before their match on Sunday. But Mark stood firm at Rob’s side as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns surrounded the ring, looking for their point of attack. However as they were about to launch, a Giant did indeed invade the ring, in the form of The Big Show. Returning from hiatus to stand at Henry and RVD’s side, The Shield thought better of it and beat a retreat. Well, maintaining limbs before a Pay Per View is a sound battle plan, stick with it boys.

Bored with the antics of The Usos and Mark Henry, The Shield head in to RAW with different targets in mind. Interrupting an in ring stand off between John Cena and Randy Orton the trio circle the ring intent on an attack until a surprising save is made by John Cena’s #1 Contender, Daniel Bryan. The Shield begin to back off but RAW General Manager Brad Maddox makes his presence felt and declares there will be a 6 man main event to cap off RAW. The Shields already beaten all three of these men on numerous occasions, so it doesn’t seem like they’re in for a tough night!

As the Main Event rolled around, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins started things out with Randy taking early control of Rollins, working him over and then leading him in tot he corner to tag to Daniel Bryan. Daniel hit his top turnbuckle missile dropkick and sent Rollins sprawling enough for Dean to tag himself in, going after Bryan but Bryan was on fire, knocking Dean out of the ring and then hitting a suicide dive on him to the outside. Dean was tossed back in to the ring. Rollins attempted to attack Bryan on the outside but Bryan dodged and sent him in to the ring post. Bryan set him to dive bomb both Rollins and Roman on the outside but was hit by a dropkick from Ambrose inside the ring, turning the tables.

Ambrose proceeded to dismantle Bryan and handed the tag over to Roman who manhandled Bryan, taunting him. But Bryan wasn’t to be kept down and fought back, making a tag to Cena but the referee didn’t see it! Bryan was forced to continue. Eventually Bryan caught Rollins in the No Lock and as he was about to tap, Ambrose and Reigns made the save. The referee calling the DQ. Orton and Cena quickly came to Bryans aid and chased the Shield away, leaving Bryan and Orton in the ring. Orton then shocked everybody (yeah nobody saw it coming) by hitting Bryan with an RKO. Dun dun dunnn. A standoff between Orton and Cena ended in Orton dropping Cena like a sack of bricks, but just as it looked like Randy was about to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on a stricken Cena, The Shield returned. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns swarming the ring and taking out Cena and Bryan. Orton thought better of it and walked away, leaving Bryan and Cena to their fates.

Have The Shield spoken? Do they not want Orton as Champion?

Mark Henry may have chased off The Shield more than once in recent weeks, but that’s not about to put them off as they head in to 6 Man Tag action on RAW facing Henry and the equally troublesome Usos. Ambrose starts things off against Henry but quickly learns the mans strength is nothing to be trifled with. Ambrose makes a hasty tag to Rollins who also tries his luck to even less effect, leading him to tagging in the third and strongest member of the group, Roman. Reigns squares up to Henry and bellows that he’s unafraid while Henry challenges him to a test of strength. Its misleading however as Reigns takes the offered hand, Henry boots him in the stomach. Henry takes firm control of the match up and manhandles Reigns in his corner, eventually tagging in one of the Usos. Why would you do that? Bad game plan boys.

Things quickly fall in The Shields favor with The Usos in the ring and it takes Henry’s presence once again to turn the tables. Henry tossing both Rollins and Ambrose out of the ring before grabbing Reigns and hurling him over the ropes also. It seems as though Henry could feesably take on the entire Shield solo, but never count out their cunning. During the commercial break Rollins is worked over by Henry and The Usos but with Jimmy back in the ring, Ambrose retakes control and we return to RAW with The Shield dominating.

The match becomes a trademark whirlwind of action as The Shield attempt to take out Henry, eventually Reigns hits him with a spear and Henrys finally downed, forced to tag out to one of the Usos. Ambrose takes on the challenge and while the action spills to the outside for Rollins and Reigns, Ambrose endures a Samoan Drop and kicks out, whichever Uso it is he’s in there with heads for the turnbuckles and takes a flying leap but Ambrose gets his knees up, knocking the wind out of him before hitting the Uso with his Headlock Driver and picking up the win.

The celebration is short lived however as a raging mad Mark Henry charges Ambrose from behind and clears the ring of the rest of The Shield. They gather up their title belts and beat a hasty retreat. Just how are they going to conquer this mountain?

Last week The Shield made the bold move of assaulting Mark Henry as he vied for another shot at the WWE Championship. They’d go on to explain that Henry was old news and there wasn’t time for people like him in the title picture anymore. He’s a dinosaur, after all. Unfortunately though they didn’t put Mark Henry down for good and heading in to RAW, Henry came to the ring to call all three of them out. Citing that he’s not even remotely intimidated by the trio. The Shield of course respond, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns coming to the ring and taking their positions before launching their attack and for a moment getting Henry on the run. However those pesky losers The Usos decided to stick their painted faces in where they weren’t wanted yet again and run to Mark’s aid. As Henry and The Usos dispatched of Ambrose and Rollins, Reigns was left to face the music. But before things could get really bad for the muscle of the group, Ambrose and Rollins came to his aid. Dragging him from the ring.

Deeply frustrated and annoyed, Ambrose kicked the snot out of the ring barrier – That’ll teach it – before the trio escaped through the crowd. Seemingly wanting no more of Henry and The Usos. For now.

Oh and Dean got a haircut. Yes, we cover everything.

Rollins and Reigns retained their Tag Team Championships last night at Money in the Bank and Ambrose stole though show in the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder match with his typically out-there antics. But he was unable to claim that briefcase and that being the case, the trio head in to RAW looking for something new to sink their teeth in to.. and find it.

Mark Henry has been on an unstoppable destructive path trying to get his paws on the WWE Championship and he comes out to issue another challenge to John Cena, in an attempt to appeal to his sense of competition and get him to pick him to face at Summerslam. The Shield however, have other ideas. Interrupting Henry before Cena can answer at all and heading down to the ring. After weeks of being engulfed in singles competition, Ambrose is back to old ways as he and his Shield brothers circle the ring and launch their attack. Henry makes a valiant attempt to fend them off but after Ambrose leaps on his back with a choke hold, Roman hits the spear and it’s game over. The trio set Henry up for a Triple Powerbomb and hit it, putting the big man down. But have they stopped his warpath? Or are they now in the crosshairs of a very angry man that can pull freight vehicles. Interesting choice.. boys.

After a truly terrible past few weeks for The Shield the group look to carve a path to Money In The Bank in their usual unstoppable style. Heading on to RAW they’re out for redemption as they take on The Usos and Christian in a rematch from Friday. After Ambrose’ intense WWE.com Promo you know he isn’t going to take another defeat. While Christian and The Usos dominate the opening minutes of the match and seem to have all three members of The Shield off balance – we’re just going to put that down to bad week jitters – the actions spills to the outside and The Usos and Christian take to the air and take down Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns. Heading in to a commercial break it seems like The Shield are on the run.

However returning from commercial we find The Shield in control and back on their game. The bitter taste of defeat still in their mouths and spurring them on. While The Usos attempt some of The Shields own game plan by breaking up attempted pinfalls, they’re just not enough to outsmart the Men In Black. With Christian and Ambrose the legal men in the ring Ambrose takes out some of his frustrations on his new nemesis. The Usos interfere again but Romans on hand to take them out, leaving Ambrose and Christian alone again. Christian attempts the Killswitch but Ambrose shoves his way out of it. Christian takes to the turnbuckles for something death defying but instead eats ring rope as Rollins snatches his foot and drags him down. As Christian hits the mat Ambrose quickly rolls him up and with a swift 1, 2, 3 .. ahh, revenge is sweet. Ambrose dusts off his hands and The Shield leave the ring with smirks on their faces.

Somehow though, I doubt Dean’s going to be satisfied with just a simple win. If I know anything about him, he wants Christian destroyed.

It’s time for the Powers that Be to come up with a new contender for The Shields Tag Team Titles (and one for Ambrose’ United States Championship? not tonight apparently) and so RAW management scrape together three poor excuses for Tag Teams in Tons of Funk, The Usos and 3MB to fight it out to a Title shot. It’s a wholly uninteresting match and The Usos mostly run the show, eventually picking up the win. Hurruh! After The Shield defeated them definitively on Main Event last week it’s only fitting they should get a shot. The Shield come out to interrupt The Usos victory dance, trash talking from the stairs while Ambrose looks wholly unimpressed.

Enjoy your up-coming defeat, Usos. You don’t stand a chance.

After retaining their titles last night at Payback, Dean Ambrose is thrown in to a title rematch against Kane. How is that fair you ask? Well it isn’t and it probably has something to do with Vickie Guerrero being threatened earlier in the night by Triple H, demanding that she do something about The Shield and that if they cause any kind of trouble tonight, they should be disciplined at any cost. What a task to charge someone with!

Ambrose takes it to Kane in the early going of the match but Kane soon regains control and seems to have Ambrose on the run, however, as it seems he might be falling in to a little trouble his Shield brothers show up to put Kane back in his place. Roman and Seth attacking, they set Kane up for the Triple Powerbomb and nail him with it, the match called off and Ambrose disqualified. But he’s still the Champion! The Shield retreat backstage where they find Vickie Guerrero waiting for them. Ambrose is most amused, they heard what she said and that they would be facing serious ramifications if they continued their behavior. Well, in Dean’s words, what is she going to do? Spank them? Before Vickie gets the chance to really throw her weight around and supposedly put The Shield in their place, The Boss arrives. Vince McMahon shaking the hands of all three Shield members and patting them on the backs, telling them he liked them and they reminded him of himself with their ‘Ruthless Aggression’. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns thank Vince for his faith and are sent on their way, leaving Vickie in something of a quandary. Boo hoo.
