Dean Ambrose is kinda upset that Cesaro and Sheamus took the Tag Team name ‘The Bar’.. he announces on commentary on RAW tonight that he’d like to steal it. The Bar would certainly be an appropriate name for him for for more reasons than just one. At any rate, Dean and Seth are on hand for commentary as ‘The Bar’ Cesaro and Sheamus take on Heath Slater and Rhyno. The Bar are on form and make short work of their opponents, while on commentary Dean declares that once he and Seth are in the tag Team division, there’s nobody better, and nobody is taking the Championships off of them.

Later on in the night Dean and Seth have a match of their own and take on Gallows and Anderson, with Cesaro and Sheamus loitering at ringside. Like a well oiled machine, by now Dean and Seth well and truly have their groove back and dominate much of the match, until Dean is caught in a powerbomb that sees him struggle to hold on. Hold on he does, eventually getting the tag to Rollins and in a whirlwind of action.. and in spite of Cesaro and Sheamus attempting to get involved, Seth gets the pin and the victory for the team. Cesaro and Sheamus aren’t happy! Dean and Seth make a swift retreat up the ramp with their Title belts, while Cesaro and Sheamus take out their frustrations on Gallows and Anderson. Three weeks. No Mercy. Prepare to get even more mad, ‘The bar’.

Cesaro & Sheamus def. Heath Slater & Rhyno
Rough news awaits Heath Slater’s kids: The One-Man Band and Rhyno fell short in a Raw tag bout against Cesaro & Sheamus, who have managed to keep pace in the Tag Team division even after losing the Raw Tag Team Titles to Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. The inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions gave “The Bar” a solid fight, with Rhyno nearly turning the tables against Sheamus while Ambrose & Rollins watched from commentary. Unfortunately, The Man Beast turned straight into the path of a Brogue Kick after he attempted to dispose of an interfering Cesaro, giving the victors a boost as their Tag Team Title rematch at WWE No Mercy approaches.

Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
Cesaro & Sheamus showed they’re not slowing down anytime soon with their win over Heath Slater & Rhyno, but Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins are right there with them. The champs defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, a move that won’t exactly earn them good-brother status but definitely does wonders for their momentum as their showdown with “The Bar” looms large in the distance.

They might need it, too: Cesaro & Sheamus jaw-jacked with Gallows & Anderson before the match and lurked, stone-faced at ringside for the entire bout … at least until they attempted to interfere.

Rollins used Anderson as a human projectile to thwart the intrusion, rolling his foe up for the win moments later. And then Cesaro & Sheamus surprised everyone by going after the good brothers instead of the champions, getting the better of a brief, but intense fight. Even when their plans go awry, they still set the bar, and might just dictate the pace as well

A busy week on RAW this week for your new Tag Team Champions, as Seth starts out the night for our duo taking on Cesaro in singles action. Dean is at ringside to fend off Sheamus from any interference, but unfortunately that proves to be the undoing of Seths match as Dean and Sheamus brawl on the outside, Rollins is momentarily distracted. Just long enough for Cesaro to sneak in and take the win. With that victory under their belts ‘The Bar’ quickly switch over and Sheamus challenges Dean to a one on one match up. Dean’s never backed down from a fight in his life, so it’s game on. In what turns out to be a vicious brawl, Sheamus tortures Dean’s lower back and kidney area. He’s never one to quit though and endures, fighting back. An eventual assist from Rollins, taking Cesaro out of the picture and nailing Sheamus with a knee to the face, gives Dean the opening to hit Dirty Deeds.. and it’s all over for Sheamus.

The Bar have their rematch due, but for tonight it’s a draw, one win a team. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Seth Rollins has been jaw-jacking with The Usos all weekend, but he and Dean Ambrose might have a far more present danger to worry about, as The Kingslayer fell to Cesaro in a singles match that pitted one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions against one-half of the tandem they defeated to win the titles.

And it’s all because of the other half of that tandem, as Sheamus forced Rollins to take his eye off the ball by swiping at the ropes while The Architect was preparing to fly. While Ambrose scrapped with The Celtic Warrior on the outside, Cesaro uncorked a home-run uppercut to Rollins that put him down for three. The only person who was happier than Cesaro about the win was Sheamus, who challenged Ambrose to a match on the spot.

It’s a split series for the current and former Raw Tag Team Champions, as Dean Ambrose knocked off Sheamus just moments after The Alabaster Gladiator’s impromptu challenge to The Lunatic Fringe.

The Celctic Warrior was riding high after Cesaro scored a win over Seth Rollins, and The Lunatic Fringe quickly showed his foe that his eyes were bigger than his stomach. Through a series of impressive reversals (that tornado DDT!), some gritty perseverance through a banged-up back and an assist from Rollins — who bailed his partner out of White Noise behind the ref’s back — Ambrose planted Sheamus with Dirty Deeds for the 1-2-3.

The RAW after the night before and Ambrose and Rollins are still firing on all cylinders. Coming out to the ring to talk celebration and team work, as well as the inevitable rematch. However it isn’t Cesaro and Sheamus that answer their challenge tonight, it’s The Hardy Boyz! Two men that Dean and Seth have idolized since they were kids. It’s frantic battle with bodies flying everywhere as you’d expect from these two teams, but in the end the fluid teamwork of Dean and Seth clinches the win, as Dean strikes Jeff with Dirty Deeds and Rollins claims the pin. You know what they say about Teamwork… here’s what WWE.com had to say!

The band is back together, and the dream matches have already begun. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins opened their unlikely Raw Tag Team Title reign by declaring the evening to be a “party” and inviting any team in the locker room to step to them, seemingly expecting Cesaro & Sheamus to come looking for a rematch. Instead, they got a gentleman’s challenge from The Hardy Boyz, and it was exactly as epic as you might have imagined. (Cesaro & Sheamus scouted from the locker room.)

The Most Exhilarating Tag Team In History didn’t just hang with the younger tandem, they came awfully close to defeating the new champions after Matt Hardy hit The Lunatic Fringe with the Twist of Fate to tee him up for Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb. However, Rollins superkicked Matt right after Jeff tagged in, and Ambrose got his knees up to block the Swanton, leaving The Charismatic Enigma alone to suffer the one-two combo of Rollins’ ripcord knee and a match-ending Dirty Deeds.

With Summerslam a week away, Cesaro and Sheamus have been looking for a fight. The fractured friendship between Ambrose and Rollins has thus far been an easy target for them to torment, but tonight that all changes. Dean opens RAW by calling out Seth, demanding to know just what the hell is happening with this game they seem to be playing lately. Seth says Dean’s the one playing games and if he’d just let himself, he’d realize that if they buried the hatchet, they could run this show. Dean remains unconvinced and lets Seth have another piece of his mind, telling him that last week he’d been prepared to give it another shot but then Seth had spat in his face refusing the fist bump. Seth decides that maybe this is a lost cause and goes to leave the ring, when Dean pulls him back and hesitantly offers him the fist of friendship. This time Seth refuses, and Dean explodes. The former brothers brawling themselves out of the ring until Cesaro and Sheamus pick their moment to attack.

Assaulting both Dean and Seth, the tag team champs seem to have the upper hand. But Dean and Rollins fight back, resilient as ever and a perfect team, they send Cesaro and Sheamus running for cover and.. at long last.. bury the hatchet. Ladies and gentlemen we have a fist bump! With Dean and Seth back on the same page, Kurt Angle wastes no time announcing them the new #1 Contenders to the RAW Tag Team Championships and they’ll get their match at Summerslam this sunday! Cesaro and Sheamus, you’re on notice. Better shine those titles up. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Like any pair of brothers worth their salt, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were brought back together after fighting it out.

The two former WWE Champions put their cards on the table and threw hands in an explosive confrontation at the opening of Raw, bringing their years of tension and resentment to a head after several weeks of tepidly-received olive branches. So, it was easy to see why Cesaro & Sheamus decided to attack their rivals after the brawl left both men depleted at ringside, only Ambrose & Rollins surprised everyone by driving the Raw Tag Team Champions back as one, Shield fist bump and all. And, given that Raw General Manager Kurt Angle immediately sanctioned a Tag Team Title Match between the two duos at SummerSlam, it might just be time to believe again.

Seth Rollins gets himself into a spot of bother once again on RAW and this time, true to his word, Dean leaves him to it. despite baying from the crowd for him to come to Rollins’ aid, he stays put. But does Seth learn the lesson at last? Of course not. Backstage Seth confronts Dean and Dean asks him why he went and put himself in that situation, it just left him looking like a jerk for not helping him. Seth says y’know what, Dean IS a jerk! Oh hell no, you don’t get to stab a guy in the back, put his head through cinder blocks and nearly end his career then turn it all around on him, Seth.

Dean tells Seth to get used to going it alone, it’s what he’s been doing since The Shield split up after all. Tonight he faces Cesaro, and he’ll do it alone.

When the match rolls around, Dean’s all business and focus. Taking Cesaro to his limits and beyond, he refuses to stay down, perhaps proving a point to everybody including himself. Dean claws the win out from Cesaro and instantly Sheamus attacks, a beatdown beginning. Seth is quick to the save, staving Cesaro and Sheamus off. But when he and Dean get face to face again, Dean wrestles with his own conscience and eventually offers the fist bump out to Seth.

This time it’s Seth Rollins to walk away, leaving Dean burned, once again. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Say what you will about Seth Rollins, but he won’t leave a man hanging.

Despite Dean Ambrose refusing to come to The Kingslayer’s aid after his match against Sheamus, Rollins lent Ambrose a hand after The Lunatic Fringe found himself in hot water of his own with the Raw Tag Team Champions. The main difference was that Ambrose had won his match, an epic, scientific affair with Cesaro wherein the two Superstars traded a wide array of old-school holds and locks before they broke out the heavy artillery.

Down to the wire, The Lunatic Fringe won off a roll-up, and when the champs swarmed him, Rollins arrived to drive them back. Ambrose was seemingly won over by The Architect’s actions and offered him the customary Shield fist bump, but Rollins left him high and dry this time around. Turnabout is fair play.

The problem with calling yourself “The Architect”, Seth, is that everything you do seems like a plan. At least that’s what appears to be going through Dean’s mind tonight as the drama continues to unfold. He starts out the evening with an interview, Renee Young asking him if he thinks theres a chance he and Seth might get back together after last weeks victory over the Miztourage. Dean says it kinda felt like old times and it was fun, but before anybody gets their hopes up.. he still doesn’t trust Seth Rollins. As Seth arrives to try and plead his case, Dean cuts him off, telling him he’s been burned by him before and it’s not going to happen again.

Later on in the night Seth gets himself into a spot of bother after Cesaro and Sheamus taunt him about having no friends, he takes on Sheamus in a match and wins, but Cesaro quickly joins in for a vicious beatdown. Just as they’re leaving, Seth begins to pick himself up and they return for a further beatdown. Dean has no choice but to intervene and help, but ends up getting a beating of his own for his trouble.

By the end of the night, Seth finds Dean to thank him for the help, but Deans waves him off. Telling him he didn’t help him out of the kindness of his heart, but because Seth worked that situation so as he’d look like a bad guy if he didn’t come and help him. As always, the situation was ‘built’ by Seth to get him on side. Dean isn’t buying it, and he doesn’t think Seth would ever help him out of the kindness of his heart either. When he saved him from The Miztourage, he only did it because Miz insulted him. This is getting messy, we might need Oprah. Heres what WWE.com had to say!

If Seth Rollins is still The Man, he remains a man without a country, as his continued efforts to mend fences with Dean Ambrose seemingly went nowhere in the early goings of Raw. His night did take a turn for the better when he defeated a trash-talking Sheamus (who, as Raw Tag Team Champions with Cesaro, does have brotherhood on his side), but unfortunately for The Kingslayer, he immediately found himself subject to a 2-on-1 disadvantage.

Moments after Rollins pinned The Alabaster Gladiator off a rollup, Cesaro joined his partner in a two-pronged mugging of the former WWE Champion. Eventually, The Lunatic Fringe came to his old brother’s aid after all, but Ambrose suffered a stomping of his own for his trouble. (True to form, Ambrose incurred extra punishment after eating a Neutralizer and daring the champs to keep it coming).

So, Ambrose and Rollins found themselves on the wrong side of a beatdown. The good news, at the very least, is the former Shield brothers did it together.

Seth Rollins is still trying to build bridges he burned and cemented over three years ago, can he really blame Dean for being wary as hell when his best friend stabbed him so ruthlessly in the back for nothing but money and personal gain? It’s a bitter pill to swallow and even harder to let go of. Dean’s not there yet, made evident when Seth visits Dean early in the show to talk strategy and Dean wants no part of it. He doesn’t want to plan, he just wants to fight. He isn’t just worried about their three opponents, he’s worried about his backstabbing tag partner too.

But he doesn’t have to worry too much. Old habits die hard and easily they merge together as a team once more, working that old unit like it never went away, at least until victory is won. A brief hug then Dean remembers, this dude betrayed him once and you know what they say, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice? Dean’s not about to let that happen. He leaves Seth hanging on a fist bump, but maybe the first nails have been hammered into that new bridge? Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

So, can Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins co-exist? Yes! But have they truly moved on from past events? That answer’s a little more complicated.

Despite Ambrose’s vocal distrust of The Kingslayer, the two former Shield members managed to recapture enough of the old magic to outlast The Miz & The Miztourage in Raw’s 2-on-3 Handicap main event. The Lunatic Fringe even came to Rollins’ rescue after Miz and his crew feasted on The Architect for most the match.

The favor was repaid when Seth broke up the pinfall after Miz connected with a potential match-ending Skull-Crushing Finale on Ambrose. Rollins also saved Ambrose from a second Skull-Crushing Finale with a flying knee that teed up Dirty Deeds.

Ambrose, fired up from pinning The Awesome One, allowed a brief post-match embrace from The Architect, though he was still a bit too conflicted to partake in the traditional Shield fist bump, much to Seth’s disappointment. Baby steps, though. Ambrose might just get there yet.

Firstly, apologies for the lateness of this posting! Over the past week we’ve been making some significant ‘backstage’ changes to the sites server and had we posted results on the usual day, they would have vanished. But here we are resuming our regular scheduled programming.. and this week on RAW Dean brought the drama! Kicking off the show by calling out the entire Miztourage, he’s had enough of them, he’ll take them all on, all at once or one at a time it makes no difference to him, he just wants to kick their asses. However, the response he gets is his former Shield-mate, Seth Rollins. Seth just wants Dean to calm down and come up with a better plan, suffice to say, Dean is less than happy to see him. Rollins finally apologizes for what he did three years ago and for the brutal chairshots he inflicted on Dean and fellow team mate, Roman Reigns. But Dean isn’t convinced. Once his trust is broken it might not be possible to get it back at all. Seth makes a last ditch effort to win him over and hands him a chair, telling him he’s got a free shot – he’s got a free whole bunch of shots. He tells Dean to hit him with it as many times as it’ll take for him to get it out of his system.

But Dean? he’s not that easy to win over. He laughs off the offer and throws the chair out of the ring. Who knows what might have happened next as the Miztourage interrupt them and mock them, coming down to the ring and surrounding them, then viciously attacking. Dean and Seth are left beaten while Miz and his cronies gloat. Later on in the night Dean demands Kurt Angle give he and Seth a handicap match against all three of the Miztourage on next weeks RAW. Wish granted. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Don’t let last week’s unexpected rescue fool you: Dean Ambrose still isn’t down for a mini-Shield reunion with Seth Rollins.

Even after rescuing The Kingslayer from The Miz & The Miztourage last week, The Lunatic Fringe assured his former “brother” that Rollins was simply in the vicinity of his intended target — Miz himself — and his distrust of the former Authority man hasn’t dimmed one bit since Rollins disintegrated The Hounds of Justice three years ago.

Looking to finally put the past in the past, The Architect offered an unprecedented apology to Ambrose and even a free crack with a steel chair, but The Lunatic Fringe couldn’t bring himself to carry out the attack, opting instead to toss his chair from the ring. Miz and The Miztourage had no such qualms, however, surrounding the ring and picking Rollins and Ambrose apart with steel chairs of their own. The numbers game strikes again, but as it turns out, Ambrose and Rollins are OK with that.

When Raw General Manager Kurt Angle offered them a match against any two Miztourage members next week, Ambrose suggested a 2-on-3 Handicap Match against all of them instead. A full-on reunion might not be in the cards, but maybe, just maybe, these two old rivals can make the WWE Universe believe again all the same.

Seems like Dean’s reached the end of his rope with The Miz, as Miz continues to press buttons by hosting a ‘Mizzies’ awards in which he presents awards to himself and his ‘Miztourage’, Dean crashes the party unafraid of the 4 on 1 advantage and gets himself into a spot of bother. Help comes from an unexpected place, in the form of Seth Rollins who Miz had also insulted during his acceptance speech. Miz and his Miztourage are chased away with the combined efforts of Ambrose and Rollins, but Dean seems less than happy to have the help.

Backstage Dean confronts Seth, demanding to know why he came out to help him. Seth says he wont listen to anybody trash talk him, to which Dean laughs. Yeah, cause Seth is such an upstanding citizen, right? Dean tells Seth to fight his own battles and stay out of his, he doesn’t trust him because he knows him. Looks like Seth is not yet forgiven.

Later on in the night the Miztourage attack Seth after his Main Event match, and this time Dean comes to his rescue. But after he brutally attacks Miz with a chair and pays no attention to Seth, you have to wonder if the virtue of rescue was really what Dean had in mind. Heres what WWE.com had to say.

The Miz managed to hold off Dean Ambrose and retain his Intercontinental Title at WWE Great Balls of Fire (with assists from Maryse and The Miztourage, of course), so he came to Raw with one thing in mind: to give himself and his people some awards. In fact, The first-ever “Mizzies” were little more than an excuse for Miz to present trophies to his team: Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel co-won Best Supporting Actor, Maryse won Most Beautiful, Gorgeous, Sexy Leading Lady and Miz himself won Greatest Man in WWE. And during his “acceptance speech,” The A-Lister came out of left field to label The Hardys, Akira Tozawa and Seth Rollins as “frauds.”

But The Lunatic Fringe was ready to play spoiler, crashing The Mizzies and taking the fight back to the Intercontinental Champion. Much like WWE Great Balls of Fire, Ambrose found himself outnumbered, at least until he cleared the ring with a clutch assist from one of the very same men Miz called a fraud: Seth Freakin’ Rollins. Despite the brief reunion, however, Ambrose wasn’t exactly raring to re-team with his old running mate in a pointed backstage confrontation.

When Wyatt vanished after claiming the victory, The Miz and The Miztourage reappeared to pick the bones, and Dean Ambrose came to his former brother’s rescue with a chair, an eye-opening change of tune given his fight-our-own-battles speech to Rollins earlier in the night.

With one week to go before Great Balls of Fire, Dean’s pretty tired of waiting around for the Miz to finish talking and heads out to once again interrupt Miz TV and demand his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. But before Dean can finish his challenge and get to the ring he’s interrupted by – of all people – Heath Slater. Heath has kids so he thinks he deserves a shot at the title. Well Dean’s got a dog so whats your point Heath? At any rate, Dean’s a sporting man and while he agrees Heath should get a shot, he insists he’s at the front of the line. Miz says Dean’ll get his rematch when HE says so.. which General Manager Kurt Angle takes exception to, coming out to tell Miz that Dean will get his rematch at Great balls of Fire and not only that, Heath Slater will get a shot tonight!

With that in mind, Dean heads up to join the commentary team while Heath takes on Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. Eager to find out who his opponent might end up being at Great balls of Fire. He also takes the opportunity to address a few of the things The Miz said about him and his career. Stating that he’s pretty proud of his accomplishments in WWE, he’s held the most prestigious titles, racked up some great accolades.. but even so he doesn’t even view success in terms of material things. He’s just happy to be doing what he’s doing. That said, The Miz wins his match thanks to interference from his entourage of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, who go on to attack Rhyno and Slater. Dean intervenes but ends up with the numbers working against him once again. Miz has the last laugh tonight, but he wont on Sunday. Here’s what WWE.com had to say.

Remember a couple weeks ago when Heath Slater dangled the idea of challenging The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship and then pinned him in a tag team match? Well, Heath Slater remembers. And while Raw General Manager Kurt Angle was happy to grant Dean Ambrose a title rematch at the first-ever WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view following a confrontation between Miz, Ambrose and Slater on “Miz TV,” he also ruled that The A-Lister would first defend his title against The One-Man Band to determine who, exactly, The Lunatic Fringe would face.

A thoroughly unprepared Miz had to compete in his suit pants and shirt, and Slater was a house on fire for the entire bout, but The A-Lister made it out with his title intact. It took a distraction from The Miztourage to divert the ref’s attention and a battle with Rhyno at ringside to divert Heath’s, but the result of those two interferences was Miz planting his opponent with a devastating Skull-Crushing Finale for the win.

Ambrose, who spent the match on commentary, attempted to save Slater from further punishment, but The Lunatic Fringe succumbed to the numbers game and found himself on the receiving end of another Skull-Crushing Finale. The worst part for Ambrose isn’t he beating, necessarily: It’s that he now facees the daunting challenge of outwitting The A-Lister and his cohorts if he hopes to leave Sunday with the Intercontinental Title back in his possession.
