With Chris Jericho defeated for a second time at Extreme Rules, Dean moves on to new challenges on Monday Night RAW. The coveted Money In The Bank Briefcase is up for grabs in 4 weeks in Las Vegas, and Deans sets his sights on earning a place in the ladder match to capture the prize. Taking on Dolph Ziggler, after a rough night last night it isn’t an easy victory, but with a well placed Dirty Deeds, Dean claims his spot alongside Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Chris Jericho. With two more spots left to fill, two more opponents for Dean.. it’s already shaping up to be an exciting match. And with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins fighting for the WWE Championship at the same Pay Per View, wouldn’t it be a perfect time for Dean to lay claim to a guaranteed shot at one of them?

A second Money in the Bank contract will have to wait for Dolph Zigger, because Dean Ambrose is headed to Vegas instead. Fresh off of tearing Chris Jericho to pieces in the Asylum, The Lunatic Fringe upended The Showoff in a qualifier to send Ambrose to his third Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The bout was, more or less, a dead heat between the two fan-favorites, though Ambrose admittedly had a bit more steam given he was coming off a win and Ziggler had taken a Baron Corbin uppercut to the nether regions one evening prior.

It’s also possible Ziggler wasn’t all the way in the game, given that he’s slated to face Corbin in a technical wrestling match next week. Either way, the bout came down to whoever would land the big move first, and that ended up being Ambrose, who survived a superkick and a Famouser, narrowly dodged a Zig Zag and pounced with Dirty Deeds to end it.

Never say Dean Ambrose isn’t creative and driven, so much so he comes up with a whole new take on the already violent cage match. If you wan to get really even with your enemies, why not hang a whole bunch of nasty weapons above that cage so that you have to risk your neck climbing up to get them just so you can beat your opponent black and blue. Whoever gets hold of one of those toys first is going to be at a distinct advantage – here’s hoping the Son of Mitch makes it out with his pot still in tact! At Extreme Rules, Chris Jericho steps in to Deans creation, the Asylum Match. Not for the faint of heart!

Chris Jericho has spent the last several months calling his opponents some variation of “stupid idiot.” If that’s the case, The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla has become the very thing he despises the most. After demanding Dean Ambrose apologize for destroying his — yep, still — $15,000 jacket, Jericho found himself goaded into accepting Ambrose’s challenge of a match at Extreme Rules without first asking for the stipulation.

As it turns out, the bout will be contested as an Asylum Match, a contest of Ambrose’s own twisted devising: a Steel Cage with weapons (among them a barbed-wire-wrapped two-by-four, a strait-jacket and a potted plant), where escape is not an option. Just for emphasis, The Lunatic Fringe had the asylum itself lowered down from the ceiling, giving his foe a good, long time to drink it in.

Revenge is sweet, and if you murder Dean’s plant he’ll destroy $15,000 worth of your iconic clothing. Let this be a lesson to everybody, especially Chris Jericho. Who’ll have a hard time finding an uglier jacket in this lifetime, but we have faith in him. Is Dean done with vengeance for Mitch? We doubt it. Jericho better wear the cheap gear next week. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

You didn’t think Mitch the Plant was going to go unavenged, did you? Chris Jericho disrespected Dean Ambrose by disposing of his pet plant, so Ambrose repaid The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla in kind by destroying his most prized possession on Raw: His $15,000 — yes, $15,000 — light-up jacket. The Lunatic Fringe jumped Jericho before his main-event match with Big Cass and strolled down to the ring with the jacket lighting his way, tearing it up before Jericho’s eyes.

The six-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion got a couple licks in and saved the jacket, but Big Cass barred his exit and, after suffering a slap to the face from Jericho, fed The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla to a waiting Ambrose. With Jericho taken out, The Lunatic Fringe took scissors to the $15,000 — yes, still $15,000 — jacket while Shane and a scheming Stephanie McMahon watched from backstage in approval of their second show together. They have a point. Chris Jericho might have taken a — can’t stress it enough — $15,000 hit, but that’s a moment money can’t buy, baby.

After defeating Jericho at Payback, we thought we were finally free of the showboating Highlight Reel host, and so did Dean Ambrose. Who takes a minute out of his schedule to stop Stephanie McMahon in her tracks and ask her about her new found ‘smile’. He’s not buying it, though Stephanie insists a person can change. She invites herself on to the Ambrose Asylum and gives Dean an open forum to ask her whatever he wants. A challenge Dean takes up gladly. But he can’t help but rub salt in Stephanie’s wounds, reminding her of all the sacrifices shes made for the business while her brother Shane has stayed home and not contributed anything for seven years. It must sting to be overlooked now, right? Perhaps Dean shouldn’t have poked the hornets nest, because Stephanie fires back by cancelling the Ambrose Asylum. Dean admits that stings too, but he had a good run, he’ll just take his plant ‘Mitch’ and leave. But as he goes, Stephanie reinstates the Highlight Reel, Chris Jericho returns.

Dean isn’t pleased to see him, and the staredown on the ramp way quickly turns in to a brawl that ends with Jericho nailing Dean with a codebreaker and trashing the Ambrose Asylum set. As Dean staggers to his feet, Jericho grabs poor Mitch and uses him as a weapon, smashing his pot over Dean’s head! Now it’s personal. Mitch shall be avenged! Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

You know what they say: You can’t introduce a potted plant in Week One of a talk show without it smashing it over someone’s head in Week Four. Blame Stephanie McMahon for Mitch the plant’s untimely demise, though. After guest-starring on “The Ambrose Asylum” — and enduring a harsh line of questioning in the process — her first order of business was to undo one of her brother’s more controversial edicts, canceling the show and rebooting “The Highlight Reel” on the spot.

The Lunatic Fringe didn’t mind his show getting shuttered all that much, but Chris Jericho’s return got him riled up good. Still, Jericho got the upper hand in the ensuing brawl, Codebreaking Ambrose and smashing Mitch square over his head, sending him to sidekick heaven alongside Francesca I.

Hot on the heels of a whirlwind European tour, Ambrose returns to the US and straight on to RAW where he calls out the man he’s been feuding with for the past few weeks. Mr rockstar, Chris Jericho, doesn’t take kindly to being called out by someone he considers ‘beneath’ him, but Dean’s never cared much for opinions. Or things like expensive shoes and fancy (stupid) haircuts. Dean also doesn’t attack people from behind, he confronts them face to face. And boy does he have some stuff to get off his chest, telling Jericho exactly what he thinks of him before attacking him in the middle of the ring and sending him sprawling to the outside. Dean has bad intentions and starts to strip down the announce desk, but Jericho thwarts his plans and sends Dean face first in to a monitor, stunning him enough for Jericho to lock in the Walls of Jericho, torturing Dean on the announce table until officials are forced to break it up. Jericho leaves with a smug look on his face.. one Dean will gladly smack clean off of him this Sunday.

Bad news for fans of “The Ambrose Asylum”: A steaming-mad Dean Ambrose opted out of hosting another edition of the hottest new talk show in WWE after Chris Jericho cheap-shot last Monday on Raw. Good news for fans of rage-fueled brawls: Ambrose called Jericho out instead, and The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla answered, if only to demand Ambrose apologize for failing to show him the proper deference before their match Sunday at WWE Payback. The Lunatic Fringe punched Jericho in the face instead, though their brief fight ended badly for him when Jericho tripped him up on the announce desk and managed to lock in the Walls of Jericho atop the table.

Whenever Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens fight, they fight. And they picked up right where they left off this past winter in a wild, main-event match that spilled out of the ring in short order with Owens suffering a suicide dive from Ambrose, followed by a trip over the commentary table.

Owens repaid him with a sternum-flattening frog splash off the apron, but a resilient Ambrose countered a second frog splash by getting his knees up, setting up Dirty Deeds … at which point his Payback opponent Chris Jericho ambushed him with a Codebreaker. The attack left Ambrose down in a heap, but one can guess the payback for this attack will be nothing short of rabid … to say nothing of Payback itself.

We won’t say Dean’s one to hold a grudge but he’s not letting Jericho’s rudeness on Smackdown go unanswered. Interrupting his self congratulatory Highlight Reel on Monday Night RAW, Dean brings a potted plant, a sign and a memo from Shane McMahon. Highlight Reel is cancelled, to be replaced with the Ambrose Asylum immediately. Dean takes over the show and asks the important questions, like where did Chris get his ugly scarf. Jericho is understandably vexed and tries to intimidate Dean back to the locker room. That just earns him a Dirty Deeds.. and the end of the very first episode of the Ambrose Asylum. We dig it! Here’s what WWE.com had to say.

Dean Ambrose has a talk show? Dean Ambrose has a talk show. That means, of course, that Chris Jericho does not, now that the “The Highlight Reel” has been cancelled mid-segment (thanks, Shane!) in favor of The Lunatic Fringe’s new freeform program, “The Ambrose Asylum.” Despite Jericho’s guess that the show was merely Ambrose’s attempt to pay back the former Undisputed Champion’s own interruption on SmackDown, turns out “The Ambrose Asylum” is 100% legit. And, go figure, it’s a hit! And a kick. And a Dirty Deeds to The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla, whose attempts to bully Ambrose and his potted plant off the set were cut off by The Lunatic Fringe’s flailing fists. Tune in next week, folks.

Less than 7 days to go and the final RAW before Wrestlemania, and Dean’s on the warpath. The time for chit chat is over, the time for Heyman’s rambling is done. Dean interrupts the talkers and heads down to the ring to load up a cart full of the weapons he plans on pummeling Brock Lesnar with on Sunday. From Barbie the Baseball bat to Chainsaw Charlie, to steel pipes and ring steps, he’s not playing anymore. Bring on Wrestlemania.

Following the carnage in which he took out both Dean Ambrose and The Wyatt Family on SmackDown, Brock Lesnar came to Raw. The outspoken Paul Heyman made it clear that not even a lunatic could survive against Lesnar in a No Holds Barred Street Fight. The Beast would take the weapons available to him and perform an unpleasant procedure on Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose soon interrupted with a wagon, completely ignoring The Conqueror as he proceeded to fill it with a crowbar, a steel pipe, nun chucks, “Barbie” the barbed wire baseball bat from Mick Foley, the chainsaw from Terry Funk and the top portion of the ring steps.

After Dean took us on a tour of Cincinnati, he wasn’t about to let his former Philadelphia stomping ground go unexplored. Taking us a bar somewhere in the depths of Philly, we find Dean catching up with Hardcore Legend and ECW mainstay Terry Funk, who enthusiastically tells Dean he’s the best in the business today and if he had a son he’d want him to be just like him.. aww. That said, Terry produces a gift for Dean, in the form of a chainsaw! Good God, you’re going to let Dean Ambrose out with that thing? Dean’s thrilled with his new toy and slices through bar tables with delight. Brock Lesnar might want to run, Dean’s about to star in his own Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Later on in the night, Dean steps up to face another monster on the Roster. The Wyatts Braun Strowman. Once again, Dean endures the punishment with a never quit attitude, but eventually he loses his cool and brings a chair in to play, earning himself a DQ. But he’s the last man left standing, and theres no DQ’s at Wrestlemania. Theres many ways to take down a beast, you just have to be willing to use them. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Braun Strowman should thank Sister Abigail or whatever specter he worships that Dean Ambrose decided to use a chair and not Terry Funk’s chainsaw to make a statement against the biggest Wyatt of them all after a grueling battle in Raw’s main event. That Ambrose lasted long enough into his bout with Strowman to even bring a foreign object into the equation had to be a source of concern for ringside scout Paul Heyman , whose client Brock Lesnar battles The Lunatic Fringe at WrestleMania in a Street Fight. But what really left Heyman speechless (shocking in and of itself) was that Ambrose left The Black Sheep on his back, courtesy of a superhuman Dirty Deeds onto said chair. So, can Ambrose do the same to Lesnar? As Terry Funk said, among other things, ask me no questions and I’ll tell you no lies.

Dean Ambrose is the kind of man that brings a crowbar to a street fight, while Brock Lesnar seemingly only brings his fists. While the Beast is arrogant enough to believe his fists and his 5000 suplexes are all he needs to win him a battle, Dean’s settled in for war. He knows hes in for the fight of his life and thats why he’s not just bringing his fists and wits, but an entire toolbox of toys also. Something that’s expanded upon after a shaky encounter with Brock down in the ring. Mick Foley later on pays Dean a visit to ask him why he’s going ahead with this fight, Dean asks him why he kept going on top of that cell against The Undertaker. Mick says it’s because he’s Mick Foley, and thats what he does. Touche. Dean’s Dean.. and this is what HE does. Mick seems pleased by this answer and gives Dean a gift, a symbolic ‘passing of the torch’. In the form of Barbie, Micks prized barbed wire baseball bat. Have fun, Dean!

For better or worse, Dean Ambrose is out of the roadblock. But he’s still got a date in the street with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, which Paul Heyman and The Beast made an explicit point of reminding Ambrose of when he attempted to address his WWE World Heavyweight Championship loss against Triple H over the weekend. Ambrose, of course, doesn’t exactly shy away from fights these days, so he was all ready to throw down with The Anomaly at a moment’s notice. Despite Heyman’s objections, Brock seemed game himself — that is, until Ambrose produced a hidden crowbar to drive Lesnar away. Touché, lunatic.

Roadblock is just days away and Ambrose feels like turning the WWE Universe upside down, ruining all The Authoritys fancy Wrestlemania plans and generally being a thorn in their sides. He fully intends on taking the WWE Heavyweight Championship from Triple H on Saturday and once he has it, he’s going to cause mayhem as the new face of the company. We’re talking appearances on Oprah (pst, Dean, it’s cancelled!) and grand openings and ribbon cuttings. But nothing that involves fancy suits or lapel pins because that’s just taking things too far. Mostly, he just wants to cram the fact that he’s the champion down all the Boss mens throats. And we don’t doubt that he can. Triple H however, has a few things to say about it, although he wont come down to the ring to face Dean man to man. Instead he sends Bray Wyatt to do his dirty work.

The Main Event match almost inevitably turns in to a savage attack by the entire Wyatt family, leaving Dean prone after Sister Abigail. Triple H finally comes down to the ring to say what he has to say to Dean, albeit with his fists. But as the COO gets ready to maul Dean once again, Dean strikes first! Nailing Triple H with Dirty Deeds and swiping his championship! And it sure does look perfect on Dean’s shoulder. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

“Roadblock” isn’t the right word. When it comes to The Road to WrestleMania, Dean Ambrose is looking to blow the whole thing to hell. There’s no denying The Lunatic Fringe’s potential rise to WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Saturday would mean a bit of a scramble when it comes to marketing, but Ambrose’s aim in dethroning The King of Kings at WWE Roadblock is simpler: He wants to force The King of Kings to respect him.The Game, of course, does not respond well to those who refuse to bend the knee, so he took to the ramp in an attempt to put Ambrose in his place. The Lunatic Fringe didn’t budge, so Triple H changed course, “delegating” that the rebellious Ambrose would battle Bray Wyatt later on Raw. So sayeth The King.

If you’re looking for an opponent to deliver a statement beating to Dean Ambrose, you could do worse than Bray Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds is hungry for a signature win and, with Brock Lesnar lying in wait at Roadblock, a win over The Lunatic Fringe would both put Wyatt in position to upset The Conqueror and put Ambrose into a hole before his own bout against Lesnar at WrestleMania.Of course, that was the plan. The reality proved messier. Not only did Ambrose go blow-for-blow with The New Face of Fear, but Wyatt also had to bring his Family out to stop The Lunatic Fringe, leading to a disqualification loss and a beatdown of Ambrose that Triple H was quick to capitalize on. Despite a long, pointed staredown between Wyatt and The Game (hmmm), The Eater of Worlds took his leave and allowed Triple H to set up another table attack. By then, though, Ambrose had recovered long enough to hit Dirty Deeds on Triple H and seize the title for his own. Call it a bulldozing before the Roadblock. And there may well be more to come.

The road to Wrestlemania is about to get a whole lot more bumpy as Dean takes on perhaps the challenge of his career. But he’s always said if he isn’t pushing the limits he gets bored. There’ll be no chance of that as brushes off a brutal attack from Brock Lesnar and stumbles on to RAW against all odds, to challenge Lesnar to a Street Fight at Wrestlemania! You heard that right, Dean wants Brock in a no holds barred match on the Grandest Stage of them all. His first singles match at Mania and it’s going to be as intense as they come. Hang on to your hats! Theres a lot of road left before we get there, too!

Among the many takeaways from WWE Fastlane’s main event was that, if not for Dean Ambrose and a steel chair to the back, Brock Lesnar may well be headed to WrestleMania instead of Roman Reigns. The Conqueror does not take losing lightly; hence his barbaric sneak attack of The Lunatic Fringe in the Joe Louis Arena parking lot before Raw. But what Lesnar fails to grasp is that Dean Ambrose is so tough that he may well outlive both cockroaches and the Twinkie.

Following Heyman’s demand that a new WrestleMania opponent present himself to The Beast, the punch-drunk Lunatic Fringe somehow managed to commandeer an ambulance and crawl his way back to Raw to confront Lesnar and challenge him to a No Holds Barred Match at The Show of Shows. Not only did Lesnar accept, but he also gave Ambrose a free sneak preview by F-5ing him onto the arena floor. Rough start on The Road to WrestleMania, but rest assured, Ambrose will be back for more.
