If you thought The Shield were done with NXT you’re sorely mistaken. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns had a videos message for the show this week in which they warned they were always watching and were ready to deliver Justice wherever they saw fit. They’d already brought it to RAW and Smackdown, why should NXT be any different? Most importantly, Seth Rollins hasnt forgotten about the NXt title he still claims is rightfully his. So pretty soon The Shield are going to be back to reclaim what’s theirs, NXT has officially been put on notice.

After the events of Friday night Smackdown, The Shield had a message for Randy Orton, Sheamus and The Big Show on tonight’s RAW. The action cutting to a pre recorded message in which Ambrose mused over the fact that Orton, Sheamus and Show were all vying for the chance to take on The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, when they seem to be forgetting about another undefeated streak currently in the WWE.. that of The Shield. As yet undefeated on Pay Per View and TV, they’re a force to be reckoned with and perhaps the three men should be focusing on them instead of the infamous Deadman. It looks like the Viper and friends wont be given much of a choice, the eye of Justice is always watching and theres some revenge to be had for the strike to Reigns. If they think it’s over they’re sadly mistaken. Believe that!

A huge thanks to my friend and co-admin Josie of & we have some great video footage above from tonights RAW Live event in Syracuse, New York as well as some fabulous candids now in the Gallery. Josie was front row for the action and even got herself yelled at by Ambrose for taking his picture! “Get your camera out of my face – tell her not to shoot me! (to security)”.

The Shield started out their night by attacking Justin Gabriel after his match, followed by Ambrose and Rollins getting on the mic (see above) to preach the merits of the Shield. Later on the trio faced John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus and for the third night in a row the match ended in a DQ in Team Cena’s favor, boo!

Heading to Canada (eh?) to continue on their Road to Wrestlemania, the Shield was quick to make their presence known. Despite their current run-ins with Sheamus and Randy Orton, they were scheduled to later on in the night challenge Ryback and John Cena in handicap action. Never a group to simply go down to the ring and wrestle unless called for, the Shield interrupted the celebration of fan favorite, Justin Gabriel, to make an example of what they were going to do later that night.

The action was immediate once the Shield hit the ring for competition later in the night, but their consistently brilliant numbers games allowed them the advantage. Unfortunately, quick tags only worked for so long as Cena and Ryback gained the advantage. Setting Dean up for the ShellShock, Ryback was then caught in the ribs by chair handled by Roman Reigns – causing the Shield to be disqualified. Despite seemingly having power with the chair, the Shield was still caught with the finishing maneuvers of the dreaded Cyb(orgs)(ack )(to-be-determined-witty-team-name) to close the show.

After The Viper struck on Monday, attacking Rollins while Ambrose and Reigns were distracted, The Shield were looking for some vengeance this Friday as Randy Orton took on the Big Show in the ring. With both men down, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns took their opportunity and invaded ringside, circling Orton and planning to attack until Sheamus ran down for the save. But Sheamus wasnt enough, The Shield re-organized themselves and struck anyway, assaulting the pair and taking them down. However, as the Giant Big Show awoke the tables turned, Big Show hitting Reigns with that deadly knockout punch of his. Ambrose and Rollins beat a hasty retreat to see to their fallen comrade, getting him away from ringside and throwing threats back at Big Show. is it wise to anger a Giant? I’m sure we’ll find out.

A handful of weeks ago Seth Rollins lost the NXT Championship despite the best efforts of his Shield Cohorts to Big E Langston. Tonight, the #1 Contendership to the title was up in a match between Corey Graves and Conor O’Brian, but you didn’t expect The Shield to let the past injustice go unanswered did you? As the match appeared to be swinging in O’Brians favor the lights went out and there was nothing but bad news for the pair as they came back up again. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns attacking and hitting both men with the Triple Powerbomb, clearing out the ring and then taking to the mics. Ambrose reminding the NXT crowd and everybody else that now that The Shield’s in town, they should keep their guard up whoever and wherever they are. You can’t run from justice. Rollins went on to re-iterate a point from RAW, stating they’re there to right the wrongs of an industry gone awry, things are going to get better, but before they do they’re going to have to get a lot worse. The proof? Just ask Sheamus, John Cena and Ryback how bad things can get. Roman declared nobody is outside the reach of the Shield, with Ambrose making the final call to arms, Believe in the Shield.

Oh Dean, we do.

After two major victories at Elimination Chamber and then on last weeks RAW, defeating the best the WWE has to offer, The Shield came out tonight to make a statement. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns taking to the mics in the ring Ambrose started out by saying things only got worse before they got better.. and things were going to get a whole lot worse. A lot of people in the back are very on edge because of their presence and isnt that a shame, they’ll have to deal with it because The Shield aren’t going anywhere until the WWE is free of injustice (my God, boys, that’s an uphill battle and a half!). Ambrose informed whoever was listening in the back that they could form any super team they wanted, they’d still come out on top. Reigns took over declaring The Shield would grind their bones to dust, while Rollins reminded of the recent victories and asked if there was anybody else left to even try and challenge them, to which an answer was given…

From Sheamus?! Has he taken one too many bumps to the head or what? How many times do you want to get your pasty butt handed to you? Oh well. Sheamus came out onto the ramp and instigated a fight, daring The Shield to come and take him out. I’m sorry guys, but this screamed trap and they walked right in to it. Ambrose and Reigns leaving the ring to assault Sheamus, only for Rollins left behind, to be snuck up on by Randy Orton. Dealing a vicious RKO to Seth, Randy bolted from the ring and took refuge in the crowd as Ambrose and Reigns rushed back to Rollins’ side. Orton threw his arms in the air in defiance, while Sheamus smirked on the ramp.

So.. Sheamus, Orton & Ryback Vs The Shield then? Or can we hope for a slight change of pace?

Coming off of their massive win at Elimination Chamber last night, defeating the trio of all stars John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback – there was bound to be some hurt feelings tonight. Sure enough we’re taken backstage to find Sheamus in the midst of an interview regarding the humiliating loss, when he’s interrupted by a steaming mad Ryback. Sheamus calls Ryback a mindless neanderthal (couldn’t agree more) and things are about to kick off between the two one time allies, before Chris Jericho appears on scene! Jericho has obviously been taking lessons from Doctor Shelby because he managed to turn Sheamus and Ryback’s frowns upside down, rallying their angers back around to The Shield instead of each other. Jericho says that everyone’s on edge with the Shield around and it’s time to put a stop to them. Vickie Guerrero grants another 6 way tag team match with Jericho taking Cena’s place this night. Ryback snarls in Sheamus’ face “Feed – Me – Shield”. Obviously Rybacks taken one too many knocks to the head, because every time he faces The Shield, he chokes on them.

As the match came around Team Jericho started out strong with Ryback assaulting Rollins in the corner with repeated brutal shoulders, which Jericho quickly puts an end to, reminding Ryback they don’t want to get DQ’d. staff came unglued as Jericho got in the ring against Ambrose and our fan dreams came true. The Shield continued to be overwhelmed by Jericho, Sheamus and Ryback and it looked for a time like they might finally be knocked off their pedestal. However, shortly after Sheamus Brogue kicked Ambrose off the apron (and he sold it like a champion!).. The Shield took control back. Returning from a commercial break our favorite trio regrouped and proceeded to pick apart the opposition with their frantic style. In a showdown between Ambrose and Jericho, Jericho was able to lock in the Walls of Jericho but Ambrose refused to tap (He was in CZW, you’ll have to feed him glass and boiling lava to get him to tap out). With Roman distracting Sheamus and taking out Ryback, Rollins took to the air with a dive on Jericho, leaving Ambrose to make the pin and pick up the win for Team Shield.

Their debut match on RAW and another tick in the victory column. Who’s next?

It was the match nobody thought they could win, the cocky, brash young rookies Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns having torn a vicious path through the WWE since their debut last November, were apparently set up to lose tonight as they went up against the power trio of John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback. Ever since the match was announced the naysayers have been shouting from the rooftops that The Shield stand no chance against the WWE’s top good guys in a fair fight. Well how does it feel to eat crow?

The Shield came in to the match as bold and confident as ever and while Team Cena made the first strike, attacking before the bell rang and hitting all three with vertical suplex’s in the center of the ring. The Shield went on to dominate. Ambrose started out against Sheamus and while Sheamus initially got the upper hand (and temporarily stripped Ambrose of his shirt, one for the ladies!) pretty soon the cohesive unit of The Shield began to show it’s superiority. There’s something to be said for coming up through the ranks together, traveling and working together daily. Maybe Team Cena could learn something from that next time they put a team together (Oh yeah, I’m cocky too tonight, deal with it!).

Using fast tags they soon isolated Cena and began to break him down. Sneak tactics and perfect unity dominated the match until eventually, after Ambrose hit Cena with a brutal looking DDT, Cena managed to kick out and this drove Ambrose in to something of a fury fit. As he went to attack Cena again, Cena tossed him over the top rope and took his chance, making the tag to Ryback… well, I suppose it had to happen eventually. Ryback stomped around, almost broke Dean’s neck, botched some stuff and it all spilled to the outside. Where Roman annihilated Sheamus spearing him through the barrier. Back in the ring, Cena hit Ambrose with the AA as Ryback attempted to hit the Shell Shock on Seth. But Roman made the save, spearing Ryback, Seth fell on top of him in a pin position and the ref made the count! Team Cena.. defeated.

Ha… ha… HA! So like I said, naysayers, how’s that crow taste? Would you like some salt? Some cheese with your whine? The Shield are here to stay, they’re just getting started.

Dean Ambrose presented himself as the unofficial Leader of The Shield at the end of 2012. Often it was Ambrose who took the longer parts in their Promos and shined with charisma and self confidence. With his outstanding selling skills he also attracted attention at his PPV Debut in December at TLC. The former Death-Match-Wrestler is currently considered the Superstar with the greatest potential of the trio and his future looks promising!
