Unlike many websites, Dean-Ambrose.Net is not run on a 'free host' and instead operates on a private dedicated server to keep things nuisance Ad free and running as fast as possible with absolutely minimal down time. It also keeps the site firmly in our hands with nobody governing us. This being the case, it costs a lot to run each month. I've had enquiries about how people can help so I thought I'd add the Donation button back to the site for a little while, if you'd like to help toward server costs, anything you send will go straight toward them and be very much appreciated! A busy night for Dean Ambrose as his show ‘Ambrose Asylum’ is re-instated by Shane McMahon and his first guests? His former brothers in arms, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. With Money in the Bank on the horizon, Rollins and Reigns are headed in to a big showdown and Dean has the burning questions everybody wants to know. Which man thinks he’s taking home the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins who never lost it, Reigns who rightfully has it.. or Dean. Who could win the Money in the Bank briefcase and cash it in on the same night! Of course, all of this happens after a little reminiscing, the three of them recounting stories of better times before The Shield turned sour. It doesn’t last long though, as Rollins declares his favorite moment was when he smashed them both in the back and left them in the dust. Ouch. At the end of this segment, it’s Dean left standing tall after Roman takes Seth out with a superman punch, and Dean takes out Roman with Dirty Deeds. He’s going to get his hands on that briefcase or die trying.
Later on, Stephanie McMahon is less than pleased Dean had his show reinstated by Shane, and puts him in to the main event match against Jericho. With all the other MITB players at ringside on commentary, timekeeping and ring announcing. That just seems like a recipe for disaster, and it is. As soon as Dean wins the match, a brawl breaks out that ends with Jericho holding the briefcase. Will that happen on Sunday? Not if Dean has anything to do with it!
All the talk has been, understandably, about Roman Reigns’ long-brewing battle with Seth Rollins over the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank. But perhaps the real X-factor of the match is … Dean Ambrose? Yep, Dean Ambrose. In one “Ambrose Asylum,” The Lunatic Fringe went from genial middleman among the reunited Shield members to a potential dark horse in Reigns and Rollins’ title match.
He did so in the most Ambrose way possible, casually interrupting the champion and challenger’s talking points. Per Reigns, Rollins is a pretender to the throne and a sell-out; per Rollins, he never lost the title and Reigns is a paper champion. But Ambrose added the observation that he could win Money in the Bank and snatch the title from under both their noses. As if to punctuate his point, the ensuing brawl between the estranged Hounds of Justice ended with Ambrose standing tall after a Dirty Deeds to Reigns, signifying that the inmate may well run the asylum very, very soon.
Last Thursday on SmackDown, Chris Jericho finally got his win against Dean Ambrose … and, just like that, the honeymoon is over for “The Best in the World At What He Does.” The Lunatic Fringe knocked Jericho off in their rematch on Raw, but the presence of Cesaro as the ring announcer, Alberto Del Rio as the timekeeper and Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens on commentary made the bout a veritable pressure-cooker for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants.
Well whadaya know, that pressure did, in fact, boil over. Everyone was civil enough to wait until after Ambrose reversed the Codebreaker into Dirty Deeds, but then it was “go time” as soon as Owens rushed Ambrose and the rest followed, instigating a Pier Six brawl that ended with Jericho making the symbolic grab of the contract.
