Dean conducted another interview with FoxSports Italy and discussed dream Wrestlemania matches, Brock Lesnar, The Shield and more. The interview can be read in its original Italian format HERE. Thanks to Twitter user DeniPivato who translated it into English for us here on the site.

WWE, Dean Ambrose at “The Shield reunion? Who knows…”
SmackDown’s Intercontinental champion gets ready for WM33 and his challenge with Baron Corbin: “It looks that way but I expected anything from this event..”

One time world heavyweight champion and United States champion and two times Intercontinental champion. Since his debut in WWE in 2011, hardly Dean Ambrose didn’t play an important role in the word of wrestling owned by Vince McMahon. He made it thanks to his wild and crazy attitude, he is well known as the lunatic fringe. He’s chaotic and impulsive, unpredictable and capable of everything, winning or losing against everyone. The lunatic fringe had a lot of glorious moments including winning the 2016 money in the bank, and for the first time he will enter WM 33 as a champion.

The interview was made a few hours before smack down live, where the ex member of the shield continued his feud with Baron Corbin who attacked Dean Ambrose in the backstage area with an iron bar and tried to squash/press him with a fork lift before referees could stop it.

1) Even if it’s not official, at WM 33 The two men will face each other with the Intercontinental title on the line:
Dean: That is true, but if he truly wants my title he has to earn it and prove who he really is. Baron Corbin is one of the toughest men on smackdown, but he must show the wwe universe what he’s made of. In any case, I don’t know what’s going to happen at Wrestlemania. I am not even sure if I will face one, two or three opponents in Orlando. Thats the WWE, you never know what’s coming for you, and who you’ll go against; but I’m sure Wrestlemania Will be an unforgettable night. This is our day.

2) And for the first time you will be at Wrestlemania as a current champion:
Dean: Wow that’s true. I never got a chance to think about it, and it’s crazy. I’m proud of myself, I’ve worked so hard to earn this title and well, I hope I deserve it. It’s weird because this is a title that belonged to “hard workers” like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. I also think I’m a wrestler that fights every day to create a reputation.

3) You had to face many challenges to get to this level. Out of all the matches, there is one in particular that has been the most difficult match:
During the years I’ve faced a lot of different wrestlers and each one of them represented a different challenge. I personally think Brock Lesnar was the toughest man. He’s very physical, aggressive. His match at Wrestlemania 33 with Goldberg? His toughest match of all time.

4) Then we asked him which was his dream match at WM. Dean Ambrose took his time to answer, he needs to think about it but Then here is his name:
Thats a very hard question. But if I have to choose I’ll go with Bret Hart. I would have loved challenge him. Who do I like from SmackDown roster? I really like the American alpha and they get better day by day. I would like to challenge them, Who knows maybe one day I’ll face them…

5) Talking about tag teams and Stables, is it possible there would be a Shield reunion?:
Dean: You never know, but I don’t think anyones thinking about that right now. Do you think it’s a good idea?

Even though we’ve taken different paths, i’m always in touch with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. We talk about everything. But since we’ve been drafted we don’t see each other that much, last time was during the Royal rumble. Each one of us has a different agenda, live events and so on. They are both on Raw and I am totally focused on SmackDown. They make me proud, they will always be my brothers, we lived beautiful moments together and the Shield has changed our lives. We will always be connected.
