Ziggler gets another shot at the United States Championship and after The Shield suffered a bit of a hectic night on Monday, Ambrose actually pinned by Ziggler in the 11 on 3 elimination match, you had to wonder what mindset Dean would be in coming in to this defense. As it turns out, the fact that the Boss threw them under the bus on RAW doesn’t seem to have swayed The Shield any. Dean looking ready to rip Zigglers face off as he waits to come out. The match between the two of them is short and Ziggler brings his own back up in the form of RVD and Kofi Kingston – lets face it, Ziggler could bring the cast of Grand Theft Auto 5 and he still wouldn’t be able to get the job done. The match falls apart fairly swiftly and ends in a No Contest as The Shield fight with Kofi, RVD and Ziggler. Prompting an irate Triple H to ringside to yell at them all and declare a 6 man tag.

The Shield dominate the following match up with their seamless in ring chemistry and team work together, though things do break out in to the usual mayhem toward the end, an eventual kick to the head from Rollins on Kofi leaves Ambrose to pick up the pieces and secure the win for the team. Ziggler isn’t getting that title – ever.

The Shield started out RAW once again the guardians to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as they held court in the ring and informed the locker room that their complaints had been heard and tonight they’d get a chance to take out their grievances.. on The Shield. Wait, excuse you? A very confused and surprised looking Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns stare back at their employers as they’re informed they will be taking on 11 Superstars in an elimination tag match in tonights main event. Stars including Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, R Truth, Zack Ryder (lol), RVD, Justin Gabriel, The Usos and the Prime Time Players! Now that’s an injustice. However, The Shield aren’t ones to complain and while it seems like their bosses have thrown them under bus, they have a job to do and they’ll do it. Leading us to Ambrose and co responding with this promo. The Shield are used to adversity, why do you think they started the group in the first place?

Heading in to the Main Event, Daniel Bryan first addresses the crowd before he’s interrupted by the boys in black heading down to the ring. But no sooner do they jump the barricade they’re assaulted by two men! Hmm we’ve seen that playbook somewhere before. The assailants are dragged off of Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns and revealed to be Cody and Dustin Rhodes! It seems a little payback was wanted for The Shield helping to corner and knock out their Father Dusty last week.

But it just made The Shield angry. Heading in to the match it seemed the odds were utterly stacked against The Shield, but they went at it hell for leather as usual. Ambrose eventually managing to eliminate both RVD and Kofi Kingston (bye!), Reigns took care of three all by himself in a series of brutal Spears before The Shield took their first hit, Reigns eliminated by The Usos. Ambrose and Rollins looked stunned as the muscle of the group picked up his first loss in the WWE, but they had a job to do, quickly regrouping and taking out a handful more before Ambrose took the brunt of a Ziggler Zig Zag and was the second member of The Shield eliminated, leaving Rollins all alone against Ziggler, The Usos and Daniel Bryan.

Despite a valiant effort, Rollins was unable to beat the odds and although Ambrose and Reigns attempted to help him, they were seen off by The Usos and Rollins took a knee to the face from Bryan. The Shield lose.

It’s not wise to throw a hell hound under a bus, they don’t die and they just come back deadlier. Bad move, HHH.

RAW closed with 10 Superstars from the WWE locker room revolting against Triple H and his regime and saving Daniel Bryan from Orton and The Shield, but they couldn’t expect it to go unpunished. Smackdown opens with Vickie Guerrero calling out Bryan and informing him he and those 10 Superstars will be in a Gauntlet match against The Shield, with one man at a time coming out to face the trio. Fair? Hey, who cares. Justice is justice.

The Shield start out against Darren Young of the Prime Time Players and make short work of him, moving on to his tag partner Titus and laying him out too. 3rd out is Dolph Ziggler who races to the ring and makes a beeline for Ambrose, leaping on him and battering him with punches before he’s ripped away by Rollins and Reigns. Ziggler finds himself in a fight for his life as The Shield regroup and beat him down, but he won’t stay down and battles back, a flurry of offense that has Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns on their toes. Eventually though a massive spear on the outside from Roman puts Ziggler out for the ten count. Next out is Kofi Kingston and with The Shield tiring a little, Kingston takes it to them with his usual high flying style, but it’s not to be, beaten down and pinned by Ambrose, Kofi’s the next on the fail list. Rob Van Dam makes six and with Roman reeling from a Trouble In Paradise kick from Kofi, it’s down to Rollins and Ambrose to take out Van Dam. RVD’s unique offense however has Ambrose and Rollins on the run and he lays them out and sets Ambrose up for the Five Star Frog Splash. It looks like RVD may have the win in his pocket when he’s interrupted by Triple H. The distraction sees Roman regroup and shove Van Dam from the turnbuckles to the outside, another wasted body on the mat. Triple H storms down to ringside and orders Vickie Guerrero to come to the back with him, telling The Shield to get out of the ring and leave. He’s not happy.

Backstage Triple H chews out Vickie and tells her the Superstars need to feel like competition is fair and her match basically sucked, he doesn’t want a full scale revolt on his hands. That being the case The Shield will compete in the Main Event against Daniel Bryan and The Usos.

Back from a commercial break The Shield wait for the arrival of their opponents and soon the match is underway. They go back and forth for a while until eventually The Shield isolate one of the Usos, keeping him in their corner and breaking him down piece by piece. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns dominate the large part of the match up and though the wily Uso battles to keep from giving up, it looks like all may be lost for the team. Until a little helping hand from Uso #2 see’s the tag made to Daniel Bryan and mayhem breaking lose. Roman is tossed to the outside and assaulted by an Uso, Rollins takes his life in to his hands and hurls himself over, taking out himself, Roman and the Uso. Uso #2 makes a leap for his life and Ambrose is left alone in the ring with Bryan. Hitting Daniel with a devastating clothesline, Daniel kicks out of a pinfall and Ambrose appears to be in control for a heartbeat, until Bryan locks in the No/Yes/Whatever Lock. Ambrose is able to make it to the ropes but The Usos on the outside kick him in the face in tandem, leaving him a dazed mess as he gets to his feet. A running knee from Bryan and Ambrose is down for the three count.

Well come on, five wins and one loss in a night isn’t so bad. Darn Goats.

Yet another article from the media rounds, this time for

Current United States champion, Dean Ambrose, gets a little prickly if you ask whether he and The Shield are the good guys or the bad guys. In the end, he leaves it up to the fans to decide. He recently defended his title against Dolph Ziggler, and he’ll have to do it again when he takes on R-Truth this weekend. The wrestler joined WWE last year and almost immediately teamed up with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to fight what they see as injustice within the company. Ambrose took a few minutes to talk to Festiva about how he got started with wrestling, what he sees as the next step for The Shield and who he thinks he might meet in the ring in the future.

What can we expect from you (this weekend) when you come to Hidalgo?
You can expect the whole crew hitting on all cylinders and doing right now the best product possible. We know the fans of Hidalgo, Texas, being such a big wrestling town, they expect the best. And we’re going to deliver the best. You get to see it up close and personal. It’s much more intimate and much more intense being there live as opposed to being on TV and you’re sitting there in your living room. You feel all the impact, the energy from the crowd, the rumble and roar from the audience and you feel how it’s affecting the match.

What was it about wrestling that first appealed to you when you first discovered it?
The appealing thing is it’s drama you can get sucked into. It’s like any other entertainment like a book or a movie that takes you out of your real life for a while and puts you in the fantasy world because you believe these are real people — and they are real people and they are going through real struggles. You feel the triumph and you feel the failure of these people … the athleticism, the endurance, the creativity of the maneuvers, and the realism … And then there’s the high-flying stuff that makes your jaw drop. And not to be cliché, but it’s larger than life. It’s kind of like mixing your favorite rock ‘n’ roll show with your favorite sport … there’s so much wrapped up into one exciting package and I don’t think you could ask for more.

What is the goal of The Shield within the company?
Our goal, from a personal standpoint, is to work harder than everyone else day in, day out. Get up earlier, train harder and work harder in the ring. This business is ours for the taking and we can take it and we’re going to. And if anyone has a problem with that, then, too bad. Also, I wouldn’t call us cheaters, I would call us winners. We’re not mercenaries, we’re not thugs. We just do what’s best for business by whatever means possible. That’s all kind of up to you to make your own decision about whether that’s good or bad.

Do you still kind of find it amazing that you used to watch wrestling from home and now you’re (a part of it)?
It’s still very hard to wrap my brain around. I was in a main event overall last night, and that doesn’t sink in. I always expected to be here, from day one … it was just a question of when, but it was going to happen. And from the minute I got (to WWE), I expected to be in main events (I’m not in main events all the time, I’m still climbing the ladder). I try to stay pretty humble. Just being in the locker room with guys that I watched on TV; getting advice from Arn Anderson or William Regal, that kind of stuff is really cool to me; getting to work really closely with Triple H, it’s, no pun intended, a trip. It’s weird because you dream of being in this world one day and then you are and then it’s just everyday life … and it’s like, 7-foot (Big Show) walks into catering and it’s like, “What’s up, Show?”

If you could meet anyone in the ring?
I’ve had the opportunity to wrestle pretty much everybody, a huge litany of stars … and in my crystal ball, I see myself and CM Punk crossing paths and colliding. … It’s not anything that’s boiling right now.
