This week on Raw The Shield try for revenge against Strowman, Ziggler & McIntyre after the attack last week but it wasn’t to be as they took the fight ready to strike against, the locker room empties and The Shield end up arrested and charged they later return but are assaulted by Strowman, Ziggler, McIntyre and half the Raw locker room with Raw ending with The Shield laid out a sight we don’t see often. Below is the WWE.Com report:

The Shield got arrested after attacking Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

One week after throwing in with Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre to deliver his version of “justice” to The Shield, Braun Strowman goaded Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns into an encounter with justice of a different sort.

Well aware that The Hounds of Justice were not going to take their beatdown from last week lying down, Strowman and his “pack” let loose with enough trash-talk to lure The Hounds of Justice out of the shadows for a fight. Acting General Manager Baron Corbin quickly dispatched nearly every Raw Superstar to separate the two trios — it took literally everyone to cool the situation, and even then only briefly — but the local police weren’t about to let this be settled in the ring: In the aftermath of the brawl, with the Superstars still barking at one another, local police handcuffed Ambrose, Rollins & Reigns and tossed them in the back of a police van, which quickly sped out of the arena with The Shield in custody.

Braun Strowman def. Finn Bálor; the Raw locker room attacked The Shield

Coming into Raw, it seemed possible that Braun Strowman could only be slowed down, not stopped. Coming out of it, it’s looking more and more like a certainty. Not only did The Monster Among Men hold off an all-world effort from Finn Bálor, he and his “pack” made short work of The Shield after they posted bail and were released from police custody on their own recognizance … albeit with a little help from some friends.

Bálor had been slotted into the match with Strowman after Acting General Manager Baron Corbin backed out of a challenge from Finn earlier in the night (Corbin cited his GM duties), but the former Universal Champion seized the main-event spotlight all the same, wearing down The Monster Among Men with an array of submissions. Strowman rallied to defeat Finn with a Running Powerslam, at which point the pack began to circle for another three-on-one mauling.

Enter The Shield, who rolled into the arena in a commandeered police van and made a beeline for their assembled foes. However, before The Hounds of Justice could make a move, a contingent of Superstars led by Kevin Owens — Elias, AOP, The Ascension, Jinder Mahal, Mojo Rawley, Drew Gulak, Sunil Singh and Mike Kanellis — bum-rushed them from behind, kicking off a numbers game attack that The Shield were powerless to stop. While Ziggler helped dispose of Seth Rollins by ramming the van door into his face and McIntyre Claymored Dean Ambrose on the ramp, Strowman downed Roman Reigns by clobbering him with the steel steps and driving him into the ground with a Running Powerslam. (The Shield would ultimately refuse medical attention.) With The Hounds of Justice in ruins, The Monster Among Men ended the show standing tall with Ziggler & McIntyre for the second straight week.

It used to be the only thing that could destroy The Shield was The Shield itself. Clearly, that’s no longer the case.

This week on Dean was back in action after a backstage confrontation with Jinder Mahal another stellar win for Dean but later after Bruan Strowman turns on Dean’s Shield brother & New Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event both Dean & Seth try for the save but the force of Strowman, Ziggler & McIntyre is too much even for The Shield sadly! Below is the WWE.Com Report:

Dean Ambrose def. Jinder Mahal

In Jinder Mahal’s defense, he’s probably right that Dean Ambrose could benefit from a meditation technique or two. That said, The Modern Day Maharaja clearly didn’t read the room when he attempted to pass his mantra onto The Lunatic Fringe, as Ambrose challenged Mahal to a match and ultimately upended the former WWE Champion in yet another impressive showcase of his new, power-based style.

Mahal is no slouch in the aggression and strength departments either, and he didn’t hesitate to use those attributes when it became clear that Ambrose had no intention of taking it easy. Sunil Singh provided a distraction to give The Maharaja an opening, and Mahal pounced, even going as far as to cue up the Khallas. But Ambrose writhed free of Mahal’s clutches and administered a whip-fast Dirty Deeds, putting his opponent down for three.

Universal Champion Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman def. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre via Disqualification

Last week, Braun Strowman felt the wrath of The Shield. This week, he got even. During a main event that saw The Monster Among Men team with Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre, Strowman accepted a crucial tag from a battered Reigns but refused to enter the ring. Instead, The Gift of Destruction gave The Showoff and The Scottish Psychopath free reign to decimate The Big Dog, ending the bout in a disqualification and opening the door for Strowman to exact his payback.

The extended three-on-one beatdown of Reigns first brought out Dean Ambrose and eventually the one-armed Seth Rollins, but the two other Hounds of Justice were no match for the makeshift trio. The Lunatic Fringe suffered the Claymore-Zig Zag combo, Rollins caught a Zig Zag of his own, and all three were subjected to Running Powerslams from The Monster Among Men. Ziggler & McIntyre couldn’t have been more right when they opined that Strowman and Reigns couldn’t get along as partners and that they were teaming only as a matter of pride. What they didn’t realize was how far that pride would motivate Braun Strowman to go.

Dean was back in action on RAW in his first singles match since last year! Returning triumphant to defeat Dolph Ziggler.. and then later in the night reuniting The Shield to come to the aid of new World Champion Roman Reigns! Everythings coming up Ambrose! Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Dean Ambrose def. Dolph Ziggler
Seth Rollins openly admitted that Dean Ambrose all but made it possible for The Kingslayer to win the Intercontinental Title from Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam by taking out Drew McIntyre. On Raw, Rollins returned the favor, running interference at the moment of truth to help Ambrose over the finish line against Ziggler in The Lunatic Fringe’s first match following a nine-month layoff due to injury.

It seemed, however, like McIntyre would be the one to claim retribution, as the former NXT Champion stalked a weakened Ambrose at ringside, prompting Rollins to step up. The Architect was briefly overwhelmed by a two-on-one attack from Ziggler & McIntyre, but Ambrose broke it up and sent the action back into the ring. Rollins quickly rallied to down McIntyre with a suicide dive, and Ambrose did the rest, putting his new, power-based style to good use by stopping Ziggler’s leaping DDT cold, popping him into the air and catching him in Dirty Deeds for the win.

The Shield reformed to take out Braun Strowman
oman Reigns defeated Finn Bálor one-on-one to retain the Universal Championship in a title match two years in the making, but when it came to repelling Braun Strowman and his Money in the Bank contract, the Universal Champion needed a little help from his friends.

Before Strowman showed up and all hell broke loose, however, Reigns and Bálor put on an instant classic where The Extraordinary Man summoned the full reserves of his legendary heart. Reigns, unfortunately, had reached his proverbial final form and took everything Bálor had to give him. The arrival of Strowman allowed Finn to set up the Coup de Grâce, but Reigns avoided the move and spiked the Irishman with a thunderous Spear for three.

Strowman quickly entered the ring and struck down the reeling Reigns with a vicious kick, but his Monster in the Bank cash-in was cut short by the unmistakable crackle of “Sierra, Hotel, India” and the arrival of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, back in the signature black colors of The Shield. Strowman didn’t hesitate to throw down with the brothers in black, but The Hounds of Justice overwhelmed him all the same after Reigns Speared Strowman on the outside, setting up a monstrous Triple Powerbomb through the announce table. Clearly, the message of Reigns’ bout with Bálor was that Raw does, indeed, have a fighting champion. The message of what happened after is that Braun Strowman isn’t the only one with an ace in the hole.

Dean returned to stand in Rollin’s corner this Summerslam, and quickly made his presence felt as he got in the face of the towering Drew McIntyre! Rollins went on to the capture the Intercontinental Championship. Dean Ambrose.. a lucky charm? Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Seth Rollins def. Dolph Ziggler to win the Intercontinental Championship
Back when Dolph Ziggler beat Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Title on June 18, The Showoff had Drew McIntyre in his corner, and Rollins had nobody. This time, The Kingslayer brought a Lunatic, and that backup from Dean Ambrose made all the difference.

Ambrose proved he had Rollins’ back right from the bell as he stepped to McIntyre when it appeared Drew was going to inject himself into the contest. Rollins embodied that same mentality, quickly taking the fight to Dolph with an array of strikes and chops. Ziggler cunningly took advantage, swarming Rollins with gritty offense designed to keep The Architect both cornered and down.

Rollins then countered a Ziggler-attempted crossbody, which resulted in Rollins dropping The Showoff (and inadvertently himself) over the top rope onto the floor with an unbelievable suplex. Each Superstar scored with big hits from there. Ziggler spiked Rollins with a ring-rattling spike DDT onto the edge of the ring. The Kingslayer battled back and hit Dolph with an awe-inspiring reverse Superplex from the top freaking rope, which he then followed with a Falcon Arrow.

That unbelievable sequence had Rollins closing in on the victory, but The Scottish Psychopath chucked Ambrose into the steel steps on the outside, which distracted Rollins. Ziggler used the opening to connect with the Zig Zag, but The Architect miraculously kicked out, which brought McIntyre to the apron, but The Lunatic Fringe stopped The Scottish Psychopath and dropped him with Dirty Deeds.

With the fight now even, Rollins countered Ziggler’s superkick with one of his own and then put Ziggler’s lights out with a Stomp for the victory and his second Intercontinental Championship.

WWE.Com have their predictions up for Summerslam and below is what they predict will happen for the Intercontinental Championship match between Dolph Ziggler with Drew McIntyre in Dolph’s corner & Seth Rollins with Dean in Seth’s corner:

BENIGNO: Dean Ambrose ate his Wheaties while he was away; the former WWE Champion’s presence will be enough to finally propel his brother over the line against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.
WINNER: Seth Rollins

PAPPOLLA: You can build the argument that Seth Rollins would still be Intercontinental Champion right now if it wasn’t for Drew McIntyre running interference for Dolph Ziggler on the outside. Dean Ambrose now negates that interference. The Architect will reclaim.
WINNER: Seth Rollins

BURDICK: It’s no secret. Every time it has looked as if The Architect would get the best of Dolph Ziggler, the “x-factor” that is Drew McIntyre has been there to prevent it. Enter Dean Ambrose, however, and the equation becomes much simpler. The Lunatic Fringe will negate The Sinister Scotsman, and that equals a new Intercontinental Champion.
WINNER: Seth Rollins

CHIK: Quite simply, Drew McIntyre is the only reason why Seth Rollins hasn’t reclaimed the workhorse title from Dolph Ziggler, as The Scottish Terminator got The Showoff disqualified when he was about to lose the championship to Rollins on Raw, then interfered incessantly during the WWE Iron Man Match at WWE Extreme Rules. It’s only a matter of time until Dean Ambrose is trading haymakers with McIntyre at ringside, and with the two Superstars essentially canceling each other out, The Architect will find an opening to blast Ziggler with an emphatic stomp, a move from which there is no kickout.
WINNER: Seth Rollins

From WWE.com

At SummerSlam, The Kingslayer is poised to knock Dolph Ziggler off his throne in a highly-anticipated Intercontinental Championship rematch, and his returning Shield brother-in-arms Dean Ambrose will be standing in his corner while attempting to neutralize the meddling Drew McIntyre.

Ziggler took down Rollins to lay claim to the Intercontinental Title for the sixth time on the June 17 edition of Raw, thanks to an assist by McIntyre. Although Rollins technically got even by defeating Ziggler in the championship rematch the following week, The Scottish Terminator’s interference caused a disqualification and once again kept the gold around The Showoff’s waist.

This led to WWE Extreme Rules, where the resilient competitors left everything on the canvas and battled it out to a 4-4 draw in a classic 30-Minute WWE Iron Man showdown, though Ziggler emerged victorious in sudden death overtime once again thanks to McIntyre’s continued interference.

With such controversy, it is no wonder that Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced the rematch for the workhorse title at The Biggest Event of the Summer, but will The Architect overcome The Showoff and his imposing friend to finally recapture the illustrious gold now that The Lunatic Fringe has reemerged to counter Ziggler’s sinister second?

Don’t miss what is sure to be an explosive Intercontinental Championship showdown at SummerSlam this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on WWE Network!

Dean Ambrose made his long awaited comeback to Monday Night RAW, stepping in at the side of Shield-mate Seth Rollins to provide some much needed backup against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Dean was sidelined with injury late last year and it’s been a long, 9 month wait to see him again! He will be in Rollins’ corner this weekend as Seth challenges Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship. New look and all!

Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

The problem hasn’t been that Seth Rollins can’t beat Dolph Ziggler so much as that he hasn’t had an answer for Drew McIntyre. But thanks to some shrewd negotiation and waiting until the opportune moment, The Kingslayer may have finally evened the odds against the Intercontinental Champion.

With Rollins supposedly waylaid by travel issues, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle was left to negotiate alone with the Intercontinental Champion and his heavy in advance of the planned Ziggler-Rollins contract signing for their SummerSlam match. It was all smooth sailing, save for one curious development: If Ziggler wanted to keep Drew McIntyre in his corner, he would have to agree to a contractual proviso that allowed The Kingslayer to have a second of his own.

With Roman Reigns laid up by Paul Heyman’s pepper spray and Tyler Breeze destroyed by Constable Baron Corbin (thus thwarting the prospective formation of “CrossFit Breeze-us” for a second week), Rollins seemed to be all alone. That cleared the runway for Ziggler to reveal why he’d been able to one-up Rollins all this time: The Architect fights for the WWE Universe, and Dolph gave up on them a long time ago. These days, he places his faith instead in McIntyre, who truly has his back no matter what. The Showoff signed the contract, and Angle seemed ready to call it a forfeit until Rollins finally made his entrance.

As it turns out, Rollins had been in the arena for a while; he just wanted to wait until Ziggler signed the deal so the champion couldn’t back out. And he had that proviso put in for a very specific reason, and the travel issues weren’t exactly his. And he already had his backup: A buzz-cut, bulked-up, and frothing-mad Dean Ambrose, who returned from injury to join Rollins in a joint beatdown of Ziggler and McIntyre before The Kingslayer finally signed his contract. It appears Rollins finally has his answer, and Dolph Ziggler might just have a problem.
