Dean spoke to FayOberver.com a couple of weeks ago to talk about the show in the area, he also spoke about sacrificing his body, his nomad lifestyle and staying focused. You can read the interview below and the full article HERE

For better or worse, Dean Ambrose has been on the road since late adolescence, sacrificing his body in the ring on a near nightly basis for the sake of the show. The World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler with the kamikaze-like ring reputation is now what he calls “a very old 31 years old,” and he said he can’t ever remember waking up in the morning and feeling good.

Instead, he said, “I feel like crap. But everything is OK.” That’s because Ambrose is doing exactly what he aspires to do. He’s a modern-day gladiator playing a role under the big lights. For years, he toiled away in near obscurity on the independent wrestling scene. Today, in the WWE, he has gained a reputation as fearless, unpredictable, even unstable between the ropes.

Remember, though, it’s all show. “Yeah, I’ve been doing this since — basically, I’ve been on the road since I was 18,” he said in a phone interview from a pro wrestling date in Texas. “I don’t know any other way. I tend to get squirrelly. After a few days in a hotel, I’ve got to move on. I’m just a nomad moving from town to town. That’s all I know. I enjoy it. I get to see the world. Travel to every city of the world, from Fayetteville to New York City.”

Ambrose came of age following the travails of the stable of stars in the former World Wrestling Federation, and has watched wrestling as long as he can remember.

“I watched every bit of wrestling you can imagine,” he said. “I’ve always been such a fan of all different styles of the sport. I’ve never had one favorite (wrestler). I like to watch everybody. I learned stuff I use in the ring today. I just love the sport.”

After going professional in 2004, Ambrose spent a chunk of time learning the ropes before signing with the high-profile WWE in 2011. A year later, he made his debut on television.

Over his career, he has competed in four or five WrestleManias, wrestled in championship matches and defended his titles. As a key figure in this traveling WWE tour, he has plied his trade in the ring from Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo to New York’s Madison Square Garden.

“You got to stay focused on the task at hand. You might get killed,” he said of what he’s thinking when he enters the ring. “You’ve got to keep your head on swivel. When I’m in the ring, it’s one of the most relaxed moments of a day. The worst is the travel — 365 days a year. Getting into town, finding a gym to work out. The reward is the 15 to 20 minutes you get to spend in the ring. I couldn’t be more relaxed. It’s a release of all my frustrations.”

The problem with calling yourself “The Architect”, Seth, is that everything you do seems like a plan. At least that’s what appears to be going through Dean’s mind tonight as the drama continues to unfold. He starts out the evening with an interview, Renee Young asking him if he thinks theres a chance he and Seth might get back together after last weeks victory over the Miztourage. Dean says it kinda felt like old times and it was fun, but before anybody gets their hopes up.. he still doesn’t trust Seth Rollins. As Seth arrives to try and plead his case, Dean cuts him off, telling him he’s been burned by him before and it’s not going to happen again.

Later on in the night Seth gets himself into a spot of bother after Cesaro and Sheamus taunt him about having no friends, he takes on Sheamus in a match and wins, but Cesaro quickly joins in for a vicious beatdown. Just as they’re leaving, Seth begins to pick himself up and they return for a further beatdown. Dean has no choice but to intervene and help, but ends up getting a beating of his own for his trouble.

By the end of the night, Seth finds Dean to thank him for the help, but Deans waves him off. Telling him he didn’t help him out of the kindness of his heart, but because Seth worked that situation so as he’d look like a bad guy if he didn’t come and help him. As always, the situation was ‘built’ by Seth to get him on side. Dean isn’t buying it, and he doesn’t think Seth would ever help him out of the kindness of his heart either. When he saved him from The Miztourage, he only did it because Miz insulted him. This is getting messy, we might need Oprah. Heres what WWE.com had to say!

If Seth Rollins is still The Man, he remains a man without a country, as his continued efforts to mend fences with Dean Ambrose seemingly went nowhere in the early goings of Raw. His night did take a turn for the better when he defeated a trash-talking Sheamus (who, as Raw Tag Team Champions with Cesaro, does have brotherhood on his side), but unfortunately for The Kingslayer, he immediately found himself subject to a 2-on-1 disadvantage.

Moments after Rollins pinned The Alabaster Gladiator off a rollup, Cesaro joined his partner in a two-pronged mugging of the former WWE Champion. Eventually, The Lunatic Fringe came to his old brother’s aid after all, but Ambrose suffered a stomping of his own for his trouble. (True to form, Ambrose incurred extra punishment after eating a Neutralizer and daring the champs to keep it coming).

So, Ambrose and Rollins found themselves on the wrong side of a beatdown. The good news, at the very least, is the former Shield brothers did it together.

Seth Rollins is still trying to build bridges he burned and cemented over three years ago, can he really blame Dean for being wary as hell when his best friend stabbed him so ruthlessly in the back for nothing but money and personal gain? It’s a bitter pill to swallow and even harder to let go of. Dean’s not there yet, made evident when Seth visits Dean early in the show to talk strategy and Dean wants no part of it. He doesn’t want to plan, he just wants to fight. He isn’t just worried about their three opponents, he’s worried about his backstabbing tag partner too.

But he doesn’t have to worry too much. Old habits die hard and easily they merge together as a team once more, working that old unit like it never went away, at least until victory is won. A brief hug then Dean remembers, this dude betrayed him once and you know what they say, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice? Dean’s not about to let that happen. He leaves Seth hanging on a fist bump, but maybe the first nails have been hammered into that new bridge? Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

So, can Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins co-exist? Yes! But have they truly moved on from past events? That answer’s a little more complicated.

Despite Ambrose’s vocal distrust of The Kingslayer, the two former Shield members managed to recapture enough of the old magic to outlast The Miz & The Miztourage in Raw’s 2-on-3 Handicap main event. The Lunatic Fringe even came to Rollins’ rescue after Miz and his crew feasted on The Architect for most the match.

The favor was repaid when Seth broke up the pinfall after Miz connected with a potential match-ending Skull-Crushing Finale on Ambrose. Rollins also saved Ambrose from a second Skull-Crushing Finale with a flying knee that teed up Dirty Deeds.

Ambrose, fired up from pinning The Awesome One, allowed a brief post-match embrace from The Architect, though he was still a bit too conflicted to partake in the traditional Shield fist bump, much to Seth’s disappointment. Baby steps, though. Ambrose might just get there yet.

Firstly, apologies for the lateness of this posting! Over the past week we’ve been making some significant ‘backstage’ changes to the sites server and had we posted results on the usual day, they would have vanished. But here we are resuming our regular scheduled programming.. and this week on RAW Dean brought the drama! Kicking off the show by calling out the entire Miztourage, he’s had enough of them, he’ll take them all on, all at once or one at a time it makes no difference to him, he just wants to kick their asses. However, the response he gets is his former Shield-mate, Seth Rollins. Seth just wants Dean to calm down and come up with a better plan, suffice to say, Dean is less than happy to see him. Rollins finally apologizes for what he did three years ago and for the brutal chairshots he inflicted on Dean and fellow team mate, Roman Reigns. But Dean isn’t convinced. Once his trust is broken it might not be possible to get it back at all. Seth makes a last ditch effort to win him over and hands him a chair, telling him he’s got a free shot – he’s got a free whole bunch of shots. He tells Dean to hit him with it as many times as it’ll take for him to get it out of his system.

But Dean? he’s not that easy to win over. He laughs off the offer and throws the chair out of the ring. Who knows what might have happened next as the Miztourage interrupt them and mock them, coming down to the ring and surrounding them, then viciously attacking. Dean and Seth are left beaten while Miz and his cronies gloat. Later on in the night Dean demands Kurt Angle give he and Seth a handicap match against all three of the Miztourage on next weeks RAW. Wish granted. Here’s what WWE.com had to say!

Don’t let last week’s unexpected rescue fool you: Dean Ambrose still isn’t down for a mini-Shield reunion with Seth Rollins.

Even after rescuing The Kingslayer from The Miz & The Miztourage last week, The Lunatic Fringe assured his former “brother” that Rollins was simply in the vicinity of his intended target — Miz himself — and his distrust of the former Authority man hasn’t dimmed one bit since Rollins disintegrated The Hounds of Justice three years ago.

Looking to finally put the past in the past, The Architect offered an unprecedented apology to Ambrose and even a free crack with a steel chair, but The Lunatic Fringe couldn’t bring himself to carry out the attack, opting instead to toss his chair from the ring. Miz and The Miztourage had no such qualms, however, surrounding the ring and picking Rollins and Ambrose apart with steel chairs of their own. The numbers game strikes again, but as it turns out, Ambrose and Rollins are OK with that.

When Raw General Manager Kurt Angle offered them a match against any two Miztourage members next week, Ambrose suggested a 2-on-3 Handicap Match against all of them instead. A full-on reunion might not be in the cards, but maybe, just maybe, these two old rivals can make the WWE Universe believe again all the same.

Dean spoke with the Huntington Herald Dispatch and discussed The Shield, live events, championships and Renee. Check out an excerpt below and the link to the full article HERE

When Ambrose came onto the WWE scene in 2012 as part of The Shield with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Ambrose started being described as “The Lunatic Fringe.” Outside the ring, Ambrose passes for sane. Inside the ring, given his talent and connection to fans, the nickname has helped him become a headliner on the WWE roster.

That character will be on display Saturday, July 15, when the WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour makes a stop at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range from $20 to $100 and are available at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena box office, via Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

Ambrose and Seth Rollins are set to take on The Miztourage of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

“I feel like I’m a pretty sensible individual,” Ambrose said in a telephone interview. “I don’t feel unhinged (another characterization). It is what it is. Michael Cole (WWE announcer on “Monday Night Raw” and pay-per-views) said it on TV enough times it clicked. I’m used to it. You know you get labels put on. In the ring, I don’t care. I fly by the seat of my pants, do whatever I feel like doing. Don’t worry about the consequences.”

Ambrose was raised in Cincinnati but now calls Las Vegas home. He was fearless at the outset on the independent circuit in the early 2000s with the ring name Jon Moxley. He could take punishment and dish it out all the way to the top in WWE. He’s also done a movie with John Cena and Randy Orton.

“It’s tough in any line of work to get to the top,” Ambrose said. “You can’t quit when times get rough. Things are going to happen to you. You have to believe in your abilities to do the stuff and put your nose to the grindstone. I could get hit by a bus tomorrow. I’ve had an incredible journey. I love to do what I’m doing. I’ve been fortunate to travel the world. All kinds of memories, stories.”

The Shield hit it big when they came onto the WWE scene. As time passed, storylines had the trio split and go to singles. Ambrose has had to face Reigns and Rollins on several occasions.

“They threw us right to the wolves. We clicked immediately,” Ambrose said. “We go week to week. We’d figure it out, did a lot on the fly. It all worked out. It’s a means to an end. Three new guys come in and kick the door down. It’s very rare three personalities work like that. You could tell we resonate with people. I’ve made way more money, got a lot more things done, a lot more work without them.”

Ambrose said he and Rollins look forward to the tag match. Axel and Dallas played a role in The Miz beating Ambrose at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view Sunday, July 9, to retain the Intercontinental championship.

“We’ve got issues after Sunday,” Ambrose said. “Plan is to go in and slap them around. Drop them on their heads and teach them a lesson.”

Seems like Dean’s reached the end of his rope with The Miz, as Miz continues to press buttons by hosting a ‘Mizzies’ awards in which he presents awards to himself and his ‘Miztourage’, Dean crashes the party unafraid of the 4 on 1 advantage and gets himself into a spot of bother. Help comes from an unexpected place, in the form of Seth Rollins who Miz had also insulted during his acceptance speech. Miz and his Miztourage are chased away with the combined efforts of Ambrose and Rollins, but Dean seems less than happy to have the help.

Backstage Dean confronts Seth, demanding to know why he came out to help him. Seth says he wont listen to anybody trash talk him, to which Dean laughs. Yeah, cause Seth is such an upstanding citizen, right? Dean tells Seth to fight his own battles and stay out of his, he doesn’t trust him because he knows him. Looks like Seth is not yet forgiven.

Later on in the night the Miztourage attack Seth after his Main Event match, and this time Dean comes to his rescue. But after he brutally attacks Miz with a chair and pays no attention to Seth, you have to wonder if the virtue of rescue was really what Dean had in mind. Heres what WWE.com had to say.

The Miz managed to hold off Dean Ambrose and retain his Intercontinental Title at WWE Great Balls of Fire (with assists from Maryse and The Miztourage, of course), so he came to Raw with one thing in mind: to give himself and his people some awards. In fact, The first-ever “Mizzies” were little more than an excuse for Miz to present trophies to his team: Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel co-won Best Supporting Actor, Maryse won Most Beautiful, Gorgeous, Sexy Leading Lady and Miz himself won Greatest Man in WWE. And during his “acceptance speech,” The A-Lister came out of left field to label The Hardys, Akira Tozawa and Seth Rollins as “frauds.”

But The Lunatic Fringe was ready to play spoiler, crashing The Mizzies and taking the fight back to the Intercontinental Champion. Much like WWE Great Balls of Fire, Ambrose found himself outnumbered, at least until he cleared the ring with a clutch assist from one of the very same men Miz called a fraud: Seth Freakin’ Rollins. Despite the brief reunion, however, Ambrose wasn’t exactly raring to re-team with his old running mate in a pointed backstage confrontation.

When Wyatt vanished after claiming the victory, The Miz and The Miztourage reappeared to pick the bones, and Dean Ambrose came to his former brother’s rescue with a chair, an eye-opening change of tune given his fight-our-own-battles speech to Rollins earlier in the night.
